We were looking for a variety of hurricanes to put ornaments and battery powered lights into them (winter wedding) and these are perfect. There's so much you can do with these, but I will be using them for wedding reception centerpieces. After that, the possibility are endless. They're elegant glass with mirrored bottom. They are perfect. Just hope they make it thru transit. Packed VERY VERY well, but somebody wasn't careful, because one arrived broken. No worries. Replacement on the way

I love this hurricane set and displayed it in my living room with battery operated LED candles during the Christmas season. However, its design is sleek and classic, making it something that could be used year-round, and not limited to any particular holiday. The three sizes are distinct from each other, and make for a very nice grouping when displayed together. Each hurricane has a mirror in the bottom to reflect the light of whatever real or LED candle you might choose to put inside of it. Each hurricane is also generously sized, allowing for large pillar candles, and/or other decorative items to be displayed inside of it. The medium height hurricane has the largest exterior dimensions, while the taller one is slightly smaller in its dimensions. Even the smallest hurricane can easily accommodate many standard sized pillar candles. These hurricanes would be lovely in wedding decor, as well as for display in a home. The black frames are narrow and classic in style, and each hurricane is beautifully transparent with the large panes of glass. All of them also have felt on the bottom, so you can display them on any wood or other delicate surface without fear of scratching. They come packaged very well in a thick styrofoam outer shell, with thinner styrofoam pieces protecting all four sides of each glass panel, as the hurricanes are packaged nested inside each other. They arrived in perfect condition with no damage due to the careful packaging. These are definitely a new favorite home decor item, and one that I will use throughout the year.

These hurricane glasses are a really beautiful trio, and have worked really well as part of my Christmas decorations. I placed them outdoors for one evening, and used them as decorations indoors for the rest of the time—I will continue to use them outdoors for limited time periods only, as I don’t want them to be damaged by exposure to the elements. Indoors, I’ve used them as centerpieces as well for holding candles in an empty fireplace, outdoors they look really nice on the front doorstep. When the weather gets nicer, I look forward to using them for lighting on the patio—they really do protect candles from the wind, and I love being able to enjoy candlelight without worrying about wind, drips, or candles falling over and setting the place on fire. They arrived really well packaged with no damage, and they looked very clean right out of the box. I am pretty careful with them, but they seem pretty sturdy and I believe they will last me quite a while. I’m really happy with how they turned out for Christmas, I can’t wait to do them up for holidays to come—these will definitely be staying out year round :)

These hurricane lanterns are made of glass with black metal frames, giving them a clean, modern look. I have them staged with flameless candles, and I also plan to add some floral embellishments. They can be displayed individually or together as a set. They have velvet-like fabric on the bottoms to prevents scratches on your furniture. I plan to use two on my mantel, and the third one in another room. These would be beautiful additions to any room.
