The adjustable brightness and timer feature make it easy to control the melting process and create a cozy atmosphere without an open flame. It works well for extending candle life and evenly releasing fragrance. One drawback is that the bulbs don’t seem to last as long compared to some of our other candle warmers, so you may need to replace them more frequently and I do wish they offered other color options. The light itself can be dimmed and brightened by a turning knob, the timer works wonderfully, you can put it on a 24 hour cycle to auto turn on and off every day. The base does NOT get hot.
