I ordered. Loved. Ordered again and ended up having to mix the second with other foundations to not get ghost-faced. I ordered the next shade darker and then noticed, the first one I got is two shades darker and much pinker than the second. Bottle says 101 Porcelain but they are obviously different shades. This is my first Amazon review I've ever left and it's for a reason. This foundation is honestly the best I've ever used and I've used so many high end brands. The price too... it's unbelievable. I'm 27 and I struggle with minor break outs and It's been such a struggle finding a foundation that doesn't break me out and stays for hours since I'm a server and get no touch up breaks on my 5 hour shifts. It's been a mission! NYX Plump Right Back Primer, this foundation paired with the Jouer Essential High Coverage concealer is my holy grail duo primer/concealer/foundation. A little advice: Don't use a primer under the eyes, just use a good cream (I use the InkyList Caffeine Cream). Neither the concealer nor foundation budge all day, they're not drying (make sure to moisturize and prep the skin first) and set wet with a powder of your choice. You're welcome!! ... show more

Full coverage for sure, takes very little product to get full coverage which is nice. I would say the colors are very yellow based so getting two shades and mixing is what I recommend. And must use a blur pour primer otherwise the product can look chalky.

I wad at the point of giving up and going without makeup. I'm 58 years old and my skin has large pores and scars from severe acne. And the WRINKLES😩 THIS product is amazing. I read so many reviews and research other products. I decided to try this. It arrived around lunch time and I just had to see if I'd gotten something that would work. I applied a very small amount to bare skin. Perfect match, covered everything, and stayed fresh looking the rest of the day! I kept checking. It didn't get flaky or look like I has scales or lizard skin. After 3 hours, I went ahead and added a bit of powdered blush, lip tint, and a light dusting of face powder. Everything stayed put, did not settle into creases or lines, and did not transfer to my hands, or clothes. I then decided to do the real test. I went to bed with my makeup on. Woke up the next morning and it STILL LOOKS FRESH! I am so pleased! I have fair skin and the bags under my eyes are horrible. I purchased this brand concealer and that also did a great job, stayed put, and covered the dark circles and reduced the appearance of baggy eyes. It's not heavy feeling or tacky on the skin. I used Maybelline Color Stay for over 40 years because it stayed put. But even that didn't do what this little bottle achieved! I'm sold! This is now my makeup!! ... show more

I ordered this foundation with the thought that it would probably not live up to my expectations. I am delighted to say I was wrong. This is truly the first full coverage foundation I have ever used. The color was a good match to my skin. It even covered a sunspot that usually shows through make-up! I use ELF Power Grip Primer after cleansing and moisturizing. I also use a brush to apply foundation. I am wholeheartedly giving this 5 stars, with the only caveat that the end result was a tiny bit shiny so I applied a very light powder over the shiny spots. ... show more

I have had a really hard time finding a foundation that works well with my skin. I have combination skin that is very dry in some areas and very oily in other areas. I don’t know how but this foundation stays very well on my skin especially if I spray a setting spray at the end. I have tried so many other foundations trying to find the right one for me and so far this one has been the best formula. So you are probably wondering, why not 5 stars then? Well…The problem is the shades suck. I use self tanner, so my skin isn’t always the same color and normally there will be like 5- 10shades in between my tan color and my non-tan color. With this brand I can’t find a shade that matches me whether I have self tanner on, whether it’s fading or if I don’t have any on at all. There’s also such a huge difference between shade 101, and shade 102. You would think I should be able to just mix them to get the right shade, but no… my biggest issue is that they both have a very cool pink tint to them. While my skin does have some redness I don’t have a pink undertone, so, even though I found the perfect formula, I can’t wear it because it, it looks worse to have such a significant difference between my face, my neck and chest, than it does to simply use a foundation that doesn’t last. To the people who make this product: you’re onto something. It’s a great formula, but please add more shades, and add shades with different undertones. there shouldn’t be such a huge difference between the first two shades. And the first shade, shade 101. Porcelain, is incredibly pink. It’s nowhere near what a normal porcelain shade would be. Please make more shades!! ( the camera does a poor job and showing really how pink the undertone is. It’s very apparent when I apply it to my skin.) ... show more
