It’s great to practice with and it comes with so many pieces. I would say some items like the practice pad needs some clarification, like any would help. I mean it looks like a flesh colored pin cushion and there are no veins to feel for. Oh yes colored water works best because anything thicker does not work. Also, you need an arm with harder veins to find. This arm is great a building confidence but practicing on the hard to find veins is really what is needed. I purchased this kit to be able to practice IV insertion. Since going to nursing school during COVID left me without a lot of hands on IV insertions, I wanted to practice more on my own at home. The arm itself feels softer than a normal persons skin. Easy to penetrate though and the “veins” are larger than most average peoples but just to get the feel of it, this product is very helpful. I would suggest buying more IV supplies as they only provide you with two catheters to practice with. But overall I think this product is good and worth the money. ... show more
