Easy to program and very lightweight with a nice shape for reaching buttons. Different colors are great so that you can see the remote in dim light. Works perfectly with my LG OLED TV and my Bose Solo 5. Sadly, the LG magic remote did not work with the Bose Solo 5 for volume control so I had to seek a solution. This remote fit the bill. It doesn't feel like it would survive too many drops which makes the fact that it's pretty slippery a concern. That said, it was pretty inexpensive and I'm so happy to have a universal remote of a reasonable size instead of the enormous Bose or the inadequately programmable LG magic. ... show more

Took me less than 10 minutes to set up this remote with the devices in my bedroom. My set-up includes an Insignia TV, Arris cable box, Apple 4K TV, Fire TV 4K, Vizio soundbar and DVD/VHS combo. I was able to setup up every device except the Fire TV, which was expected, but I haven't lost that remote, nor have I washed that one in the washer machine, so it's the least of my concern, anyway. Used direct code entry for the Insignia TV, Apple 4K and Vizio soundbar (the first codes worked); used automatic code entry for the Arris cable box and the DVD/VHS combo, which made setup even more of a breeze. The Vizio soundbar code caused the lighting on my TV's backlight device to change from red to yellow, but it only affected it during setup, and I haven't had any issues with it since turning the backlight back to red. Extremely pleased with this remote, although the packaging it came in appeared used and misshapen and the remote has a slight rattle coming from its interior, it works like a breeze and without any lag. Love the rose color, the way it fits in my hand, and that I can grip it without it slipping from my fingers. I like that this is a different color than my other remotes, so I don't confuse it with them. Was pretty easy to pair with my TV, which was not a name brand, and I was nervous it would not connect, but it did with no issues!

These universal remotes are great! This works perfectly to have 1 remote for everything instead of having a tv remote and a Roku remote. I also love that these come in different colors so you know which remote goes in which room.

I bought 2 of these, rose gold came immediately and blue on backorder. It is cute, easy (...) to program, has 4 buttons and you are not required to use the buttons as labeled (DVD can be programmed to, say, home theater). Operates Samsung tv great. Price is great. My issue is it does not operate the Directv genie. I don't know what Directv item it controls, they don't operate in IR, they install the box in a closet out of sight. I wish it would have mentioned that, I chose it specifically for the prominent mention of Directv, I thought it was IR/RF. With this, I still need the genie remote for turn on and channels. If it would allow you to turn off all home theater pieces at once - I would do summersaults. You have to individually turn off and on each component. Since Logitech quite producing/supporting their remotes (very sad - and I cannot understand leaving that market but thats just me) I have been looking for a replacement. At $13.00 - are you kidding me. If your like me the least you have to touch the remote the better. This one you do have to handle more than I would like but the setup was super easy and it works. I have an LG TV, Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, and TiVo with cable card. That meant juggling four remotes. Plus they are all black, so good luck finding one when you drop it. The Phillips remote has replaced all four remotes so I can control all functions easily, and the Rose Gold makes it easier to find (the back is still black, but it still helps). ... show more
