First, the actual performance — because even a shady multinational has to deliver on the product. The rounded, skin-friendly blade tips are legitimately excellent. No nicks, no tugging, no “why did I do this to myself” moments on the most wrinkled, high-stakes real estate a man owns. Switch between the trimmer head and the close-shave head, slap on a guard if you want length, or go full smooth. Fully waterproof for shower use (strongly recommended). Long battery, ergonomic shape that actually works when you’re contorting like a pretzel. It handles chest, pits, taint, and yes — the full sack — without drama or irritation. My balls have never looked more presentable or felt more confident. This thing is stupidly good at its one job. But here’s the real reason I trust it with my cock and balls: Philips. Let’s talk about their résumé. They’ll let you believe they basically invented the light bulb and personally flipped the switch on civilization. Reality check: Edison and Swan did the heavy lifting. This thing works very well...comes with many attachments...battery lasts forever...and it is completely waterproof so you can use it in the shower if you'd like to...you can still nick yourself when it comes to your downstairs wrinkly skin areas, so you need to be careful in certain areas, but still much easier to use downstairs than any razor...well worth the money if you regularly clean up your hairy areas ... show more

This is an expensive but very good electric razor. The important thing to know is that if you are switching from a manual razor or a different brand electric, you must use this Norelco every day for a couple of weeks before you will get a perfect, close shave. Once you have used it consistently, you will get a great shave every time. This comes with an app that tracks your shaving, tracks your cleaning fluid level and gives you tips for the best shave. However, I had to stop using the app very soon after installing it. While it is very helpful, it is Bluetooth and I found out very fast that it severely drains the battery of the razor while not in use. I would charge to razor to 100% and the next day it is below 80% without even touching it. I deleted the device on bluetooth and the battery only drained while using the razor. When I tried again and reconnected the bluetooth, the same thing occurred and it drained the battery while not in use. That essentially makes the app usage impossible as if you don't use the razor in a couple of days, it would completely drain your battery. It seems they stay connected in the background, even while the razor is off. Not good. But that is the only thing I have found wrong with the razor. As far as complaints that the cleaning system doesn't always work, it is important that the razor is properly and securely seated in the cleaning station. This is a great product overall. It feels well-built, easy to handle, and does exactly what you need it to do without overcomplicating anything. The back attachments are the standout feature. For the price($100 at time of purchase) this groomer just doesn't cut it. Or hair. Or anything else really. It says it provides a close, yet comfortable, shave. Not even close to accurate. Because close is definitely one thing it does not get. It can't handle two days of beard stubble. It can't handle a basic close shave on the body with any results with already short and trimmed hair. I have to run the groomer over the same area almost a dozen times to notice any sort of difference in stubble. So if I wanted to spend an hour to shave my face with this thing, it might be worth it. But somehow that just doesn't quite appeal to me vs 3 minutes with a standard razor that gets much closer, much faster with far, far less repeated passes. So I'd say it's a rather poor groomer paperweight and a worse groomer that's not easy to use effectively or with any sort of quality to the shave. So it's getting returned. ... show more
