Description

Philips Avent Natural Response baby bottle nipple lets babies control the pace of the milk, like they do when breastfeeding. The nipple's unique opening and tip only release milk when your baby actively drinks. When pausing to swallow and breathe no milk flows. Baby can drink, swallow, and breathe using their natural rhythm. Easily combine breast and bottle feeding with a wide breast- shaped nipple that mimics the soft feel of a breast. The nipple has a no-drip design which helps prevent lost milk from the tip. An anti-colic valve integrated into the nipple is designed to reduce colic and discomfort by sending air away from your baby's tummy. Every baby feeds differently and develops at their own pace. We’ve designed a range of flow rates so you can find the perfect one for your baby and personalize your bottle. We are transitioning to a pace-based flow navigation system. The Natural Response nipples come in flow rates 1-5, to keep up with your baby's development. Start with the nipple that comes with the bottle. Try a lower flow if milk is leaking from baby’s mouth or baby is gulping. Try a higher flow if baby is playing with the nipple instead of drinking or seems frustrated. I was hesitant to buy this after all the bad reviews about Avent's new nipple model, but we're a few months away from being done with bottles and I didn't want to invest in a whole new bottle set. So after a lot of research, I decided to just give it a try. Short: The new model works better for us than the old model. Don't let the bad reviews scare you into buying a whole new bottle set. Old nipples: I used the same Avent bottles and old nipple style with our last baby, who was EBF for many months. When it came time to transition to bottles, they were comfortable at the (old) 2 level, even though that said it's for a much younger age. BUT the nipple that was supposed to be for their age (old 4) was WAY too fast. Transitioning to 3 and then 4 was not easy or natural. I feel like this matters because I wanted to prepare them for drinking from cups with a faster flow. New nipples: This baby was also EBF for many months. Attempted to transition them to the faster nipple style (old 4 which we still had) but again, flow was way too fast. I needed to buy more of the medium range but, the only thing available for purchase was this new model. Didn't want to invest in a new set of bottles so tried it and it's so much better. Baby naturally moved between breast and bottle and is at the appropriate nipple level for age (new 5), which isn't true for the older model. They're able to get through bigger bottles in a normal amount of time. We've tried sippy cups so far and they've been fine. The reviews on Amazon and Target were so bad that I thought I'd have to get all new bottles but I'm really glad I tried these. My daughter was pretty easy when it came to taking a bottle and didn’t seem to have much preference for one bottle/nipple over another. But there were two main reasons we ended up sticking to the Avent bottles First, she seemed to struggle keeping up with most other bottles and would often end up drooling out most of the formula all over herself and make a mess. The Flow 0 nipples ended up being perfect for her. She was able to keep up with the flow of the bottle and seemed to drink more of the formula instead of spilling it everywhere. Second, she really struggle with reflux for her first few months and we found these bottles helped her the most and minimized her reflux the best. We tried several anti-colic bottles and felt that these bottles helped her even more than those. We also found a lot of the anti-colic bottles leaked a lot and would drip milk everywhere. Now that my daughter is older we have tried a couple different bottles and she still seems to prefer the Avent bottles (she’s on a flow 5 nipple now). The bottles and nipples have held up well despite being run through the dishwasher every day. We are very happy with them and would highly recommend them to anyone having the same issues with other bottles that we had. ... show more

Con mis dos hijos, solo utilizo de esta marca de biberones y tetinas pues considero que son los mejores pues con mi primer bebé probé de varias marcas y definitivamente me quedé con philips avent y con mi segunda bebé no habrá exención.
