  • I loved these replacement bulbs....for 8 months.
Style: XtremeVision: up to 100% More Vision
After tons of research, I bought a pair of these bulbs to replace the low-beams on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I absolutely loved the light these bulbs cast and was thrilled with the purchase. Traveled 4,000 miles on my honeymoon and these bulbs led the way through the Canadian Rockies. Now it's 8 months after my purchase and I noticed one of my low beams is out. So my OEM bulbs lasted 5 years and the replacement bulbs lasted 8 months. I wouldn't necessarily mind replacing these bulbs every couple of years, but the job is a bit of a pain in my Grand Cherokee and anything less than a year is completely unacceptable. Now it's back to the drawing board trying to find a nice, white bulb that lasts. Follow up: I just got off the phone with "Customer Service" at Philips. Wow, what a joke. I called Sylvania first accidentally, and they said all of their bulbs have a one year warranty and were happy to take my information for replacement. Then I realized I should be talking to Philips and called them instead and they were completely uninterested in helping me. They said their product "don't have warranties" and suggested I call Amazon to see if they would refund my money. Are you kidding me? I will never be buying any Philips product again. ... show more

  • Installed the H11 XtremeVision bulbs on my wife's 2011 Highlander ...
Style: XtremeVision: up to 100% More Vision
Installed the H11 XtremeVision bulbs on my wife's 2011 Highlander Hybrid Limited replacing the OEM main headlight bulbs. Work very well and I don't know if it's because these were H11s (with only one way 'round) though they did not need alignment adjustments. Light is much brighter and lights up further down the road without dazzling oncoming vehicles. Light is whiter than OEM bulb, with no blue tinge noticeable. Pic attached showing comparison of old bulb and one of these. I'm sure you can determine which us which :-) Hope this helps, cheers, Mike ... show more

  • Brighter but not excessive
Style: VisionPlus: up to 60% More Vision
So I wanted something a little brighter than OEM but not blind other drivers like some of the new LED's. These are advertised as being 60% brighter but still be within legal limits. The attached picture shows they are brighter/whiter in color than the original (new bulb on left). If I had to guess they are roughly 40% brighter although the picture does not do it justice. Since each auto has different optics the end result can be different, so for the record these were installed in a 2011 Volvo XC60. Overall I am satisfied with the results and will follow-up if they need replaced. Note: If you have the same model vehicle and are considering LED, the bulb is behind a cover on the back of the head light assembly with minimal clearance. So trying to fit a longer bulb would not work without modifying the cover and risking a bad seal. ... show more

  • No So "Long Life" a Bulb, But Excellent Customer Service
Style: CrystalVision: Bright White Style
Update - February 2018: The warranty for these bulbs says they're good for two years at up to 3 hours use per day. I use them about two hours most days on my long commute, so I thought I'd see how well the warranty works. Pretty darn good, it turns out. After an email to Philips, they requested some info (receipt, several pictures, etc.) that I sent off several days later. Six weeks later, just when I was going to email them again, I got a FEDEX package with a two-pack of the bulbs as a replacement; good way to keep a customer. Excellent customer service, so I'll bump the review up from 4-star to 5-star. The other original bulb is still going strong, so maybe my failed one was just an infant failure. Original Review: Well, on the one hand, these do a great job of lighting up the road. I live in a rural area with no street lights anywhere, and the light from these bulbs is crisp and white and a huge improvement over the OEM lights that came with my Mazda3. On the other hand, after just one year, one bulb has burned out after less than 300 hours of use, a poor lifetime as far as I'm concerned. The second bulb is still working fine, but for a "long life" bulb, this is not a good performer. I'll probably re-order this time, but if I continue to get short life spans from these bulbs, I'll move onto something else. ... show more

  • Photo of back of package
Style: Standard: OEM quality
I haven't even installed the lamps yet, but here's a scan of the back of the package of Philips H11 Standard Halogen Replacement Headlight Bulb, 2 Pack. It says that the Light Color is "up to" about 3200K and that the Average Lifetime is "up to" about 800 hours. The Philips package does not list a light output in lumens. A Sylvania standard H11 bulb package I saw in a store listed itself at 240 lumens. ... show more

  • Inexpensive upgrade in just a few minutes.
Style: XtremeVision: up to 100% More Vision
Easy install on a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country. The original bulbs at 18 months old, while not bad, seemed a little yellow so I was looking for an inexpensive replacement. This X-tremeVision seemed to fit the bill, not blue and rated - albeit by the MFG - brighter with a longer reach which is what I was after. They are also rated at 3400 degrees which I believe is just a smidge whiter than stock. When I pulled the stock bulbs it turns out they are Phillips, the connecter type/model only says 'H11' on the original bulbs but on the new bulbs it says 'H11 C'. I'm guessing they are just a super long life bulb but at 3000 degrees and less efficient. For comparison I've added a photo - the light on the left (looking at the photo) is the X-tremeVision, the bulb on the right is the original equipment bulb (now 18 months old from the date of MFG derived from the vehicle sticker) The blueish light is from a 300 lumen LED flashlight. ... show more

  • Stick with Standard Halogen.
Style: Standard: OEM quality
These will last longer than upgraded bulbs. Better to ck how to install on Youtube. This bulb is made in china, designed In Germany.. We replaced the GM OEM after 6yrs as they were getting dimmer and nearing end of life span.
