You can't see into the location of the bulb while you are trying to replace it so it takes patience and concentration (unless you want to spend 4 hours removing and replacing the entire faring assembly).....Take a picture with your phone of the orientation of the electrical connections before you disconnect. Electrical connections have small clasps that need depressing for removal. This is very hard to depress/pinch (so it will release) if you have big hands. Make your wife or kid do it. If these bulbs last as long as the originals (11 years and 145,000 miles using DRLs all the time), I'll be very happy. UPDATE: They don't last as long as the original bulbs. 18 months is all I got out of one of the bulbs.

How can Philips claim that these bulbs are "original equipment quality" with only 150 hours of predicted lifetime. My original bulbs lasted several years. Based on the packaging specification, these will last only 3 months in my current driving conditions.

Amazingly, these come on when the headlamp switch is activated! Better yet, they go off when they're switched off. What more could a person ask for?

Don't be fooled by the lower-than-the-others price - these are just fine! My partner surprised me by replacing both of my headlights (when only 1 was burnt out) and I think she did it in minutes, helped by a YouTube instruction video!

It doesn't last. I bought this few times and it burns out in a year. 😤 I've since switched to led. Original oem parts last 5 yrs or so. Why are after market parts crap?

These bulbs cost less than if you buy them at a car parts store and do the job. Just know, that they may be difficult to install based on your specific car make.
