This works really well. I used it to paint (2) 20' shipping containers, inside was white and outside was dark green. It only took about 10 minutes to do the outside of one. Nice and smooth spray. Make sure you only use water based paint. Cleanup is a breeze, just fill up a bucket with clean water, spray a couple buckets through it to clean it. Super happy with it. Makes painting almost fun

First things first. I’ve never operated a paint sprayer. That being said, its not rocket science but there is definitely a learning curve and a technique to master. We had three darkly painted rooms that needed to be covered and the thought of hand painting 2-3 coats to cover was enough to just say “nope.” Instead we read the reviews and settled on this sprayer. It wasn’t the cheapest nor the most expensive but it got decent reviews. Out of the box it was super easy to assemble. The most onerous part was timing the paint thickness before spraying. But once we found the right consistency, it was smooth sailing. First time out of the box, we encountered overspray- easy enough to fix. Within a short amount of time we adjusted the nozzle and didn’t have too much trouble with overspray again. When we encountered it, we just dealt with it by brushing the overspray, letting it dry and moved along with another coat. That inelegant technique didn’t seem to impact the final finish. The unit was sturdy and powerful enough for our needs, and it was not cumbersome at all with the attached compressor and hose. The idea of a cordless was tantalizing, but waiting to recharge a unit wasn’t. So, get the compressor model. Hose was long enough to work a 10x12 room without too much jockeying. Cleanup is a chore, but we drew a hot soapy sink, let the parts soak a bit and then took it bit by bit. Easy to disassemble and easy to reassemble. Machine comes with everything you need to clean out spray holes, etc. We used latex which was less involved as far as cleanup. The results are awesome, dark paint covered in one good spray and a second targeted spray; and it saved us hundreds of dollars in hiring someone to do the same thing. Plus, before the product even shipped their customer service reached out with a direct contact for us to use were we to run into an issue. All in all, I recommend the product even for a total rookie. Just take your time and roll with the punches. Totally worth it.

The media could not be loaded. My house gets a lot of sun and rain, so I must fix the walls every year. Before, I painted by hand, but it took too much time and energy. Hiring someone costs too much. So I looked online and found this sprayer. It works great! I just followed the picture card instructions (very helpful), connected the hose and nozzle, and started spraying. No need to thin the paint. It sprays fast and smooth, and doesn’t leak. Cleaning is important, but not hard if you do it right away. I shared photos of the parts, the instruction card, and the machine when it’s turned on to help others. This tool really saves me time and money. I’m happy I found it!

Update from 1 star to 4: the sprayer was replaced and the replacement worked well. We painted a shed in about 10 minutes. Getting it ready and cleaning out to definitely takes longer! The sprayer itself seems to work well though the directions are somewhat jumbled and hard to follow. On the 2nd try, we realized the little cylinder connected to the "spray or eject" switch in the gun was not positioned properly and prevented anything from coming out. When we took the tip off and pushed it all the way in, it worked perfectly. Original: Unable to really assess how well this sprayer does. The pressure control knob popped off on the first use, leaving it without power. I can't decide if I just got a defective unit and should try again with the same sprayer or if this is a design flaw that will come up again.

This is an outstanding deal. The machine itself is very sturdy. All of these sprayers pretty much work exactly the same. I did read the directions prior to using and if you take the time, you should have zero problems. There is a guy on YouTube that explains the setup, but it didn’t work for him at first. He didn’t read the directions. The actual nozzle goes on AFTER first prime. I’d advise buying an extended and elongated nozzle just to keep the fumes another foot and a half from your face. They’re universal and half the cost of the big stores. Cleaning is monumental for keeping this machine in top shape. Spend the time. Everything comes apart super easily. Love this sprayer.

Bought this to paint a very long fence as I was building it. Worked fine using it about once a week for an hour or so. I made sure to rinse it out thoroughly and put oil in the pieces after each use as told in the instructions. Suddenly during my last use (probably the 10th or 12th use), the sprayer stopped spraying. After following several YouTube videos and thinned out the paint, cleaned all the filters, the tip and the pressure ball, nothing changed. The sprayer will spray water but not paint. There are no clogs or sediment in any parts of the sprayer. I also tried a new tip (even though the original one shouldn't be anywhere close to bad) and this did not solve the problem. I have a feeling that the motor isn't able to pressure the paint to the point it can spray anymore, even on the highest setting. Kinda sad for a 200$ machine.
