You will not get the distance with this driver but it will definitely take away a large amount of your slice. I have hit this club straighter than any driver I've used in The last 5 years but probably lose 20 to 30 yards of distance from my driver on the rare times I would hit it straight

I stopped golfing over 10 years ago, but decided to start back up. As a 63 year old retiree with back issues, I found my swing, stance, power, eyesight, etc. weren't exactly like they used to be, so I decided to start changing out some of my clubs. My current driver was at least 25 years old (and looked it) and I couldn't seem to hit it straight anymore. I left it in the garage and went to teeing of with my 3 wood. A friend suggested that I try an offset driver. I found this one at a really good price and ordered it. When the club arrived, I took it out to give it a try. I first loosened up with my 3 wood, hitting all my shots decently straight and 195yards or so. Confidence up, I pulled out the PGX, took a swing, and topped it for 30 yards. Whoops... However, my second shot went a bit to the left and 205. The ball made a really satisfying sound off the club face - a solid "whack", vs the "ting" of my old club. I tweaked my swing a bit, and ended up hitting a consistant 220-225 yards, fairly straight down the center. I can't wait to get back on the course and really see what this can do. UPDATE. I've been using this club for many months and I'm loving it more and more. I can now consistently hit long, straight drives. Don't get me wrong, I do still hit the occasional bad shot, but overall my driving is solid. I wanted to wait until I practiced and played several rounds before I gave this driver a fair review. I have to say that overall it is much better than the driver that came with my set. I used to slice my old driver consistently to the point where I would keep it in my bag if I didn't have plenty of room on the right, but with the PGX I will still slice once in a while but more of my misses are to the left. I keep my scorecards on my Garmin app and I'm hitting twice as many fairways now and I have the confidence to take it out on every drivable hole. 2 things I've learned while hitting with this is, 1 I have to tee the ball up lower or I get a high pop up to the left and 2 My stance is closer to my 3 Wood stance than the exaggerated driver stance I used to use. Finally, the biggest positive about this club is THE PRICE, I had a $25 gift card but it's normally a little bit more than $50 and definitely worth it but give yourself time to figure the club out because I've hit some of my best drives all year and my bad ones are still playable. ... show more

UPDATE: After reaching out to Pinemeadow, they asked me to send a few pictures and then told me they thought the club could be repaired and authorized an RMA. Instead of repairing, they simply sent me a brand new one after a slight manufacturing delay. Adding a couple stars for their solid customer service. If the new club survives the next trip to the range I’ll update again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Add me to the ranks of those disappointed with the quality/durability of the PGX Offset Driver. Like so many others I only now have noticed have written here, on the very first trip to the driving range after hitting about a dozen balls with this brand new driver the head snapped off and went flying down range. I have to admit that before the head went flying, I was striking the ball well and was generally impressed with the driver’s overall performance. Unfortunately that feeling didn’t last beyond the 13th ball when the head went flying 40+ yards! Waiting now to hear back from Pine Meadow customer service and will update my rating depending on how they handle my request for a warranty return authorization. ... show more

This is a quality driver. It has definitely helped me avoid slicing the golf ball. The offset makes the difference. The ball flies as far as my M2 Taylor Made. This is a good driver at a great price. Sturdy and reliable.

I am 47 year old guy who weighs about 160 so I am not looking to drive the ball 200+ yards. Needless to say I am not a big swinger. I recently got back into golf and wanted a good, cost friendly driver. I purchased the driver in early July 2020. I had zero issues with driving the ball 160-180 or so yards, very forgiving for my swing and overall it performed well the first three rounds I played. On maybe my fourth round of golf the head broke (see picture) as I hit a tee shot. As I made contact with the ball the head just dangled off. I did not make any contact with the ground, the head just snapped as I made contact on the shot. Fortunately I was still in the return window so I am able to return it but I am going to get another driver. Up until it broke I loved the driver but I do question the durability so I am uneasy about exchanging it for the same driver.I expected that for the price it may not be a long lasting driver but I expected to get more than 3 1/2 rounds of use. The return policy was simple and they refunded my money and paid to have the club shipped back. ... show more

I am beginner golfer I have a bad slice to the right I have been working on my swing for some time now. And my slice is improving a little bit. So I bought PGX to would this work for me and the driving range. I use my oversize driver and the result was the same. Then I use the PGX and right away my shot was straight I thought it was just because I was warm before I use this club. I went back to the driving range week later and use the PGX first and the result was real nice I hit 90% of practice ball straight. This have given me some confidence on the golf course.
