This pack is great for beginning readers. They are short and simple so your child can read them without assistance. Each book is 15 pages, each page has only one or two lines in big print. My preschooler loves the regular Peppa Pig books, but they are quite long and have a lot of big words for that age. These short phonics books are perfect. There are 10 books, and 2 workbooks. For a preschooler, the Workbooks are definitely too advanced. I'd save those for age 5-6. There is a nice box with a carrying handle to store the set in. The books in the set are: 1. My son absolutely adores this set. I can't wait to show his ABA Tech as she's been using the Scholastic Pete the Cat Phonics set with him. When she showed it to me and how much he loved reading the books with her, I jumped straight on Amazon to look for a set featuring his second fav character, Peppa Pig. My 4 year old daughter has started to love reading because of these books. She read two last night. It feels like fun because this is one of her favorite TV shows.

I bought these for books for my daughter's 4K class when she had her birthday instead of doing cupcakes. They are very sweet, educational, and fun. When I did the math, each book cost about 75 cents! They are lightweight and not overly big.

My four year old felt confident reading these. She could handle the reading level and the books were about Peppa! They are actually funny sometimes. As a former language teacher, I could see how these encourage reading. The books group sounds that are similar and patterns them with easy to read sentences.     • surprisingly it was not a big hit...
I got these for our 4yo granddaughter who loves Peppa Pig...surprisingly it was not a big hit, she seemed to get bored with them quickly (even though they are appropriate for her pre-reading level)...I think she missed them having any discernible story line.

I bought these a few years ago and my daughter still loves reading them. They have been great for helping her to improve her reading skills.
