This golf club face is bigger than the normal kids golf clubs. The head is a heavy plastic with a larger width so the child has an easier time hitting the ball. This reduces frustration and so encourages them to try again and again, practicing their swing. I would not recommend this for a child who is already used to the regular golf club head, but for a total beginner, it is excellent. The heavier weight of the club is also a bonus so the child can get used to the feel of a regular golf club. ... show more

Club shaft and grip are very nice. The club face is ridiculous. It’s gigantic. Planning on using shaft and grip to make a new club face with epoxy and an old hollow club face as a mold.

The head on this club is huge, resulting in a large sweet spot. The pictures make it look smaller, but the noted measurements are correct. Club length is good. It has a little bit of weight, and a good solid feel, to it making it better at swing training than cheap little plastic clubs that the tots play with. I tried it with real golf balls and they don't go very far with this club, which is nice. While it would be wise to use training balls, you can probably use real ones without an issue of errant swings going through a neighbor's window. ... show more
