These clubs absolutely suck my son's first first swing with it. He hit above the ball. Didn't hit square in the face but it dented the whole driver. Absolutely horrible. I would put them in for a return if he hadn't lost one club head cover during his first round. They seem to be a little short. I was really happy to have the opportunity to review this set of clubs since my son and I both wanted to try golf. And since we are about the same size I figured we could get away with buying only one set. My son is a volunteer firefighter and he got the chance to try these out with one of the other firefighters before me. He was told that this was a pretty good set for the price. Since neither one of us know much about golfing, we can’t compare this set to others. But, my son said he didn’t have any negative issues when he tried out this set. I am not sure that either one of us are going to turn out to be regular golfers, but I’m glad we have a set for when my son gets invited next time. And since we are beginners, we want to keep our investment modest. This set does just that. This set is good quality for what you get. And it isn’t overkill for a first set or a beginner.
