This car seat with the riser is perfect for my 20lb french bulldog. She is safe & secure whether I have her in the front seat or back seat. There is plenty of room for her (so it could easily accommodate a larger dog or two dogs). The frame is nice and sturdy, base sits nicely in the car, and with the optional riser she can see out the windows and as you can see, can rest her little head on the comfy front padding. I have a mini Doxie and he likes to hang out the window. I bought this booster so that he could sit higher to see better. This booster does what it is supposed to. There is a strap to clip to your dog harness for safety. The booster is comfortable. It is sturdy, which I was looking for as my previous booster started bending from my dog hanging on the sides. The seat belt goes around the booster to keep it stable and connect to the car seat. It is visually appealing and modern. It is easy to wipe clean. It is easy to setup in the car. The price was worth it compared to other more expensive boosters.

I love how easy it is to setup in your car and to take apart and store in the car. It fits perfectly in my Honda Fit. It is sturdy and doesn’t move or slide, making it stable and safe for my dog. My dog has more room to lie down and he has more visibility to see out the window especially with the booster portion. The pockets I haven’t used too much because there really isn’t anything that I need them for, but I’m sure that someone out there has use for them. It is well worth the purchase and the quality is excellent!

I am so pleased with this car seat. It is not only a nice looking car seat it is made very well. I bought another car seat first here on Amazon that had the same concept of the vehicle seat belt wrapping around the front of the car seat, however, I hated everything about that product. This one I love. You have the option of using it with or without the booster. I go without as I want my pup securely inside the seat and not easily flying out of the seat God forbid there were an incident. It is sturdy, the interior material is soft and thick and my pup will have not only a safer ride but a comfortable one as well. Very easy to install, it takes 15 seconds. I bought the purple one and it is really a nice shade of purple.

This dog booster seat is perfect for my pup! So easy to figure it out. Not complicated and super easy to position and buckle in with the seat belt. Very quick and easy to move from one vehicle to another as well. Just takes literally 2 minutes! My doodle weighs close to 14 pounds and tall like his mama the mini poodle. He has room to lay down, sit or stand. The strap that is attached to the inside is very easy to adjust to the length you need it to tether to his harness. The front has a soft fuzzy cover for him to lay his head on too if he was to sit down but keep his head out. I have not had to take the cover off and wash it yet but that too looks very easy. I keep a small thin blanket on the bottom of the basket type area where he sits so that helps keep it clean. After having it over a month I have decided to purchase another one . Mostly importantly I feel my pup is safe and secure while I am driving. I bought this after my pup was sitting beside me in the front seat and a lady pulled out in front of me and I had to slam on my breaks and it threw him down to the floor! Fortunately I did not hit the other car and we were both safe. But my pup was a little scared for a while and we do a lot of running in the car and I did not want him to be afraid to ride in cars anymore. For the price and the quality we are both very happy and thankful for the Petsfit Booster Seat.

I would give this dog car seat 3.5 stars if I could. My dog is a service dog. I try to make parts of his life as comfortable as I can to reward him for all he does for me. I have bought several dog seats and harnesses trying to find the most comfortable safe way to transport this guy. He was originally a hospice service dog and would visit my patients (I was a hospice nurse) but has become exclusively my service dog since I became completely disabled about 3 months ago. We are not driving the massive amounts that we were but this dog is the most important relationship I have in my life. So I am writing an in-depth review on this so others can get a good idea of what this is. Here is the good and the bad of this seat: The good- 1) the inside of the seat is soft and comfy. It feels like velvet. My boy seems comfy in it. 2) the size of this seat is the right size for my chunky monkey (French Bulldog) 3) I like the holder for the belt on the front. The seat doesn’t move around very much with my dog going in and out of the seat with me picking him up or if I unbuckle him 4) I love the little dip in the front of the seat that is covered with the extra soft velvet like material. So does Pierre (🐶) and he often rests his little head on that flap. 5) the sides are firm and even if my dog stepped on the side the structure would not crunch under him. He weighs 23 lbs and is very dense like a bowling ball The Bad- 1) the tether that attaches to the dog harness is very short. Like so short that it pulls his harness. It is attached at the bottom of the seat. And if someone attached their dog on a collar the dogs face would be awkward and really could be dangerous if you were in an accident. 2) the metal clip is very small and flimsy. The design on the straps feels like an afterthought. My boy twirls around because it doesn’t hit in the right spot. There is no way to adjust this problem without ripping out the strap and replacing it. 3) the strap that goes around the head rest slips at the adjustment piece and does not stay secured. 4) they need to have more color choices. I only saw 2 and the other one was very girly. My dog disappears when he is on anything that is black.. but he is very much a boy, and putting him in a girly seat just seemed wrong 5) there is no real way to attach the dog that is truly safe in the seat alone and you have to find alternatives to make sure that the dog is going to stay in the seat if you were in an accident Summary- I had a different seat similar to this one but it was small and flimsy. So I got this one to replace my other one. This seat has nice features to it. The sides are firm and it has a base with an alternative adjustable base to boost up your dog if they are little so they can see out of the box. My dog seems to be a lot more comfortable in this seat than the others I have had. The seat is sturdy and easy to move to other spots in the car or can be easily thrown in the back of my Subaru, if I have other passengers. The big draw back is safety concerns.They need a few tweaks to make this a safer car seat. And really, I don’t think it would take much. This seat has a lot of potential but they skimped on the most important feature of safety. The bulk of the design is centered around the box part of this seat, this is high quality. However, The straps and hardware used feel cheap. Hope this helps someone out there trying to find a safe comfortable dog car seat. Dogs are the best part of being human
