This is not a product to sit on the fence about - the bottom line is if you have a dog or plan to have a dog (I assume it also works for cats) you need this weird little pet hair remover to literally take away the pet hair. I have used it for everything, working my way around to each piece of furniture where any dog (or their hair) has been seen and I even used it to clear the stair treads and it is amazing to know what was there and couldn't be seen. Oh my goodness! I have a Bissell pet vac and I can tell you that even with the pet attachment, hair is left behind. This pet hair remover, although manual, does not leave hair behind. I only wish I had discovered it sooner.

One of my dogs is a husky mix. Every single day, no matter what, he blankets our home in weightless, white fur. We literally need to vacuum 365 days a year. (I believe seasonal shedding is a myth, well, at least for this guy. There is no seasonal change.) Anyway! I am always looking for pet hair removal products... This product works well on my dog's bed. The cover is made of microfiber, so it doesn't snag. By using short, straight stokes, I was able to rake the fur into a pile and remove it. Using it on my sofa was another story. The fabric is snagged even though the rake portion of this item feels smooth. Also, this did not pull out the individual pieces of fur that get stuck into the sofa material. It works better on tightly woven material that just has surface fur.

I liked the design of this product - the handle is easier to hold and maneuver the cleaning edge over carpet, clothes, or upholstery than the triangular rubber pet hair remover that I already have. However, I have found that the triangular rubber remover works a little better on carpet than this tool (especially if the carpet is a bit matted). The remover from Guardian_Store does an adequate job of removing my dog's hair from the furniture, rugs, clothes, and carpet but the rubber hair scraper works a little better for my needs. I don't know how the two types of scrapers would work on finer, shorter, or longer pet hair.

I was skeptical about whether this would work, but it's great! We routinely get up from the couch and have fur all over our clothes because our dog lays on the couch. I keep one of these near each couch. A quick going over before we sit down and no dog hair!

Let me be clear, these products are not for your pet/animal - they are for cleaning up after them. I got a different brand but same design brush a while ago and I was absolutely stunned & overjoyed at how great it worked. Ever since, I've been on a look out for a good deal on some more so I could have one for the other side of the house and to give as gifts to our friends/family. I tested these out and they are just as amazing. I really like the little silicone thing - it is perfect for the more delicate fabrics that the regular brushes didn't work as well on, or you feel like you are damaging the fabric. I can't believe how much fur I got off my cats' beds/furniture/blankets! I can't recommend these enough - get one for each room!

Even on a carpet that looks fairly clean this little tool has raked up a ton of fuzz. Some of it is dog hair, some of it is fuzz from the wear and tear of the carpet, and it also finds and piles up little specks of junk. I have two dogs that like to bring everything inside that belongs outside, so there are twigs, grass, leaves and dirt from outside that end up on my carpets and rugs. If you don't want to get out the vacuum this little carpet tool will clean up a small space quickly.

I am completely surprised by this tool. My dog is a major shedder and this helps perfectly when a vacuum can’t! At first, I thought the abrasiveness would ruin the fabric on my furniture, but it didn’t!
