  • Living her best life
The media could not be loaded. Our senior can’t walk like she used to and this stroller allows to clock a few miles every day. She is 72 lbs and has enough room. The stroller is well built. We broke the wheel our first day out and received a replacement right away. (Pro tip: use the foot bar to tip the front wheel up over a curb just like a regular stroller. It’s easy even with your pet inside.) Seriously I can’t give this enough stars. In terms of training, we started with it parked in the house and practiced getting in and out with treats. Then we moved to door closed, strolls in the living room, and then short strolls outside. Now we can walk forever. She sometimes has to be reminded to keep hands and feet inside , but the stroller has an interior leash clip so she’s definitely not going anywhere even if there were a real escape attempt. We have not tried to walk with the cover fully back yet. Stick to cooler hours. I think it can get warm in there even with the sunroof open. :) ... show more

  • CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THIS
I bought this stroller in December 2018 (about a year and a half ago) for my 65 lb pit bull. She had TPLO surgery in one of her hind legs and we were under strict instructions to limit her physical activity for a few months, so her leg could heal. Once she no longer needed the stroller, I kept it, and I'm so glad I did. Fast-forward to January 2020. She had one of her front legs amputated due to bone cancer, and also has arthritis in both of her back legs. So for the past six months we've needed the stroller again, and we'll need it for the remainder of her life. I honestly don't know what we would do without this stroller. It was the only one I could find that was big enough for her, and I just love how flexibly it's set up. Although you can close the stroller completely, I almost always leave it wide open, so that my dog can still look around and smell things (see attached photo, from shortly before her leg was amputated). If it's lightly raining, you can open it just partway, and the top sort of acts as an umbrella. We also own PetGear's separate rain cover, which we use when it rains heavily. I love that the floor of the stroller is low enough that my dog can hop on and off as she pleases, to use the bathroom, or to do a short walk if she's feeling strong enough. If you choose to close the stroller completely, your dog can still see through some of the material, or you can open the top of the stroller and your dog can pop its head out. The back of the stroller opens up too, if for whatever reason you prefer to load your dog in from the back. Near the back wheels of the stroller, there's a metal bar that you can move down, to lock the back wheels in place so that the stroller doesn't accidentally roll away. The inner pad that your dog lies on can be removed and washed. When the stroller is completely folded, I find it pretty lightweight and easy to carry (I usually hold the bottom bar near the back, sort of like the upward part of a bicep curl). The cup holder and storage compartments are pretty nifty too. There really are a lot of nice, little thought out details. I also need to say that customer service is excellent. The stroller is very sturdy and has survived lots of abuse on NYC streets, and you really don't need to worry about this stroller collapsing or breaking. But recently one of the front wheels broke off because I very aggressively/forcefully pushed the stroller into a curb (perhaps those bicep curls have been paying off!). The stroller was still able to roll on three wheels, but it was awkward. I e-mailed customer service that day and they sent me a replacement part right away. Not sure how long the warranty is, or if there even is one, but we were probably past it, and they sent me a replacement part anyway. I was so thrilled that I just had to come here to write this review. ... show more

  • Perfect buggy
I have a 12 yr old 64 lb lab and I just bought the expedition boysenberry buggy and it was delivered yesterday (4/24). Extremely easy to assemble and use Our lab has arthritis in all legs and hip displacia. We sold our house recently with a back yard to a condo to downsize. We noticed the strain on her legs walking to the “potty” area which is why we purchased this product. Our plan is to use the buggy from our condo unit to the “potty” area then walk her around for a bit and then buggy her back home. So the first time we tried to get our girlie in the buggy it took biscuits and us lifting her front legs in. But once she was in she had plenty of room to lay down which she did while we took her for a walk. This trip was solely a pleasure ride to get her used to the buggy. So the second day it still took a biscuit and just a little lift into the buggy. I decided to keep the buggy outside our front door next to the condo stairs; so I just now took her out for her last potty of the evening intending to just leash and walk her. She saw the buggy and dug in her paws and would not walk to the elevator. She wanted in the buggy!! I opened the door and in she went on her own!!!! She loves the buggy and I do as well. The best purchase I have made. She can’t walk long distances and now she can ride in comfort and still take in the smells and socialize. This product is perfect! The snap back door entry makes it so easy for them to get in and the front entry that rolls up for easy exit is awesome. On the recent outing we did I didn’t unzip the top opening fast enough she was making it clear that I needed her “sunroof” open immediately. She loves being able to stick her head out the top! It’s like dogs sticking their heads out the car window except buggy speed much less....but details....she loves the doggy sunroof. Granted it’s only been probably 32 hrs since we have owned this (and 3 uses) but she loves it. That’s all that maters. I have not taken the time in the past for reviews but I have now....which should speak volumes. I want to reiterate that I am referring to the expedition boysenberry product and it has plenty of room for a 64lb lab. Plenty of room to stand up and lay down. Product seems sturdy and wheels have been tested on uneven sidewalk pavers.....ok, so it’s only been the second day but I Have no concerns about the structure and durability of this product. If you are on the fence.....JUMP!!! Buy it now. ... show more
