This is the third stroller I have purchased over the years from Amazon, and hands down the best! The first one I purchased was a combo stroller that can be attached to a bicycle….it was huge and could not be folded. So I was limited to where I could take it and what vehicle I had to use to transport it. I recently purchased another stroller that would fold…the old saying, “you get what you pay for” definitely applied that that stroller. I paid $80 for it On Amazon. It had plastic wheels, which after the first use, the front tire came off and the lock no longer would keep the tire in place. It was used twice. I then purchased this stroller for my 15 year old senior Sheltie so he can enjoy walks with his younger sister and brother. He has arthritis and cannot go out for walks anymore….so he gets to stroll! This stroller is amazing. It came almost fully assembled. The only parts that needed assembled were the tires and the back bar for the brakes. It was so easy to finish putting together. We took our senior out for a stroll yesterday, and I was so impressed at how easy it was to push and how smooth my boy’s ride was. I unlocked the front tire so it would swivel and had no issues maneuvering it. I also LOVE that the tires are filled with a gel so I never have to worry about putting air in them. This truly is the best stroller out there!!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone. The only thing I have to figure out, is how to lock it when it is folded. Thanks to a few people on Amazon who answered this question for me, I should be able to figure it out! If you have doubts about spending a little more for a stroller, don’t! Just buy it!!!! Remember, you get what you pay for!

Our 5 year old Dachshund just had surgery for IVDD. He is on 8 weeks strict crate rest, has to be walked with a sling, etc. We ordered this because even though he is only 21 lbs - its a solid 21 lbs and he gets heavy. Plus you have to try to carry him just right so that his back is straight. It arrives nearly put together, the wheels just snap into their slots. Be aware - they were all in their locked position - just look at the manuel for how to unlock them. The back wheels lock and unlick with a bar you can operate with your feet. The front wheel would go forward but not turn, hard to manuever. It was simply locked - 2 seconds to unlock and now it swivels and is very easy to maneuver. This stroller holds 75 lbs. Its quite solid and fits our smaller, but standard Dachshund just about perfectly. Their is a leash to clip him to and the top comes down and latches, is released with the press of a button. Its open mesh so our dog can see and sniff to his hearts content but cannot get out. There are cup holders but they are very shallow - I don't think they will be too helpful. The basket on the bottom is hard to access with a dog in the stroller - but is still nice to have. We have only been using this for a week but we are pretty satisfied customers.

The stroller idea is nice because I would walk several Chihuahuas and when they got tired I would just pick them up and put them in the stroller. Also if I saw bigger dogs coming I would put them in the stroller for their protection. Total weight of all Chihuahuas 20 pounds. Overall I like the stroller but the tires are awful. The pump is hard to get on the tire valve and you fill up the tires and by the time you disconnect it all the air is just about out. Yes the stroller is empty when I do that. Luckily since the weight of my Chihuahuas is so low I can still use it but it would be nice if the air would stay in the tires it would make it a lot easier to use it. It could be the tires it could be the valves it could be the air pump losing air. I want to enjoy my day not work on this thing. Customer service does get back to you but I don’t remember them being overly helpful. I had a piece fall out of the part that has to do with the braking and I never got an answer on that. The open and close feature is a very nice concept versus zipping it up. The stroller fell over one time and it popped right open and my Chihuahuas were running away from the stroller because it scared them and being in the street that scared me. When they get scared and start running they don’t run in the same direction if you can picture this. The previous pet gear stroller I had was a zip up and the tires never went flat because they were plastic. I had less problems with that one. I thought the quick close feature and being able to go on different surfaces easier would be very nice on this newer one. If I had to do over I would’ve kept the cheaper one except that one ripped. I was going to go on a walk right now but I’m so aggravated with the tires that I decided to do this review. If you’re a tire expert you might like this stroller because it has a nice basket underneath and nice little cupholders for treats or something else by the handle. I really like the idea that it would roll over rougher terrain but with tires under inflated that doesn’t work very well. If the tires were better I probably would really like it. If there was some little space or bracket that I could secure the top to the bottom in case it was opened by a bigger dog that would be nice as well. It would be nice if they had an option for better tires and or a better air pump. And as of today it is not laying down flat and I don’t care to investigate it other than take everything out of it and it still won’t lay flat. I can still get it in my car this way so I’m not going to bother figuring out why it won’t lay flat now. I’ll be shopping for another stroller from a different company. Update: 03/05/21 What a major improvement with the tires. My previous review was the stroller with air filled tires. This review is on the stroller that has the gel filled tires. What a great improvement. I still like the many benefits of the stroller including the large storage basket underneath, the height of the handles on the stroller, the ability to go over rougher terrain with the gel filled tires and the storage dish that is up by the handle. The handle padding is very comfortable to walk for miles. The handle is also convenient as I take a three-way dog leash attach to the handle and I can walk up to three dogs at a time and if I need to pick them up and put them in the stroller quickly that leash is long enough to do that. With the hot weather I added a Pet Mate quilted pad size 29“ x 18“ for the hotter weather to protect the stroller and it is easily washable. I see that Pet Gear also offers a really comfortable looking stroller pad that I will get for the cooler temperatures. I also see that they make a Weather cover for the stroller that I don’t have yet so if I get one of those I will do a review on that. The push button clamp seems more secure than on the last stroller which I really find Valuable. Also I like the little straps in the stroller so you can strap your dogs in the stroller and leave the top open. There are companies that make dog couplers so that you can take that one strap in the stroller and Secure two or three very small dogs to a side. I am very happy with the stroller now and would recommend it to anyone.
