Soleil scent was either spoiled…if that’s possible, or just naturally awful! Smells like a sour, rotten fruit! Definitely a strong scent…I got a horrible headache and made my house smell horrible! Turned off warmer almost immediately!

    • Less Fragrant, Pricey, Pet Safe?

I have a small room that smells of boxes, clothing, and tatami. I needed a way to freshen up without harming the cats in the home. These pet safe wax melts are easy to use and smell pleasing. Unfortunately, possibly due to the fact they are pet safe, their aroma is not nearly as potent as other wax melts available on the market, nor does it last as long. The potency also goes down the more you use it. I use one cube of wax in my warmer per week and I often find the smell of my other wax melts last much longer. By the middle of the week, the smell is relatively faint, so expect to be replacing the wax more often than you might the competition. I wouldn’t have a problem with this, except for the fact that these wax melts are two to three times the price of their competition, so if I were to replace these as often as I would like, the price would be unacceptable for someone living on social security. Really, the only thing they have going for them is the fact that they claim to be pet safe. Not actually sure if they are, I’m no scientist, so take from that what you will. These aren’t great, but I will continue to use them until I find a brand of wax melts that smells good, last longer, and will (hopefully) be non-toxic to my furry friends. ... show more
