This carrier has about 3 or 4 different ways to open it and makes getting our cat in a breeze. Usually it takes us almost a half hour to get him in but not with this! Our Vet is also now requiring him to come in this container as it makes him easier to work with while there! Does is job perfectly and is holding up well so far. My only complaint is that there is a metal hook inside carrier which we cut off. I don't know why it was there but I would recommend removing it as you don't want the animal hurting themselves.

I bought this so I could take our puppy to all the Friday night football games. It worked perfect as a backpack and then as a place for the dog to sleep in during the game. It’s durable comes with a water bowl and extra pouches to carry a blanket or anything like that. I would recommend a purchase.

I had previously used a pretty large pet carrier for my two cats. After losing one of them last year, it just didn't make sense to keep lugging the thing to the vet's so I looked into something that was a better size. I really liked the idea of a backpack. There were a couple of things I liked about this one. I like that it has 3 different openings which gives me options and also allows my cat to see what's going on. It has a removable hard bottom piece that provides a sturdy surface and stability which is important and makes her feel more secure (I put a soft blanket on top of it since my cat is older). It also has two basic side pockets which are handy and it came with a collapsible water bowl (which isn't much use to me but some may appreciate.) Generally I like to leave my pet carriers out so that my pets use them and feel comfortable in them. I usually tuck them in a corner with a blanket over them. That might not work well with this so being collapsible is a big plus. It also has a chest strap for added support (if you are larger person that might not be useful bc it doesn't adjust too much). For reference my cat is not a big cat but she is a bigger cat. She was almost 12 lbs at her fighting weight and she's about ~ 10.5 lbs now that she's older and has lost some muscle. She could curl up in the bottom of this tightly (but I doubt she would) and she's fine sitting in it. I don't think it would be a good fit for pets that are bigger than she is. I would use her larger carrier if she was going to be in it longer term but this will work well for shorter transports. It's also light weight (~2.5 lbs) which will be a benefit for some. I haven't had it long so I can't say how it will hold up long term but as of Sept '23 I happy with it! If that changes in the future I will edit this review. Hope this helps!

This is a nice backpack carrier. My cat is around 11 pounds and fits in the backpack nicely. See picture! There are 2 openings to get your cat into the pack (top and a small front pouch opening). My cat is pretty adventurous so we have no trouble getting him in and out! If your cat isn’t as adventurous, you may have to work a bit at getting him or her in. There is a large amount of mesh to let in plenty of fresh air. There is also a solid base so the cat sits in the carrier comfortably. The bag has 2 side mesh pockets which are convenient for carrying drinks or other small items. The backpack also came with a collapsible water or food dish that has a clip so it can be easily attached to the bag. The bag has straps across the front which is great!! This makes sure that carrying your pet is not straining your back. This feature is an absolute must and I’m so glad it’s on there. The bag folds up nicely and can be easily stored without taking up a lot of space. Great price for a great product!

I was really excited about this backpack carrier for the idea of being able to take my littlest out for bike rides. She doesn't take well to harnesses and i cant trust her not to run off into the shadows, so i thought this could be a good compromise. It seems quite sturdy and well designed. It folds up nice for storage and has multiple openings so you can get your kitty in or out from all sides. But its too small, she didn't go for it. I don't get it, she usually loves crawling into little nooks. I know it can only be so big while still being functional as a back pack style carrier, but it is really only big enough for a cat to sit up in. So far i haven't had much luck getting her acclimated to it, but it is genuinely really nice so I'm not giving up yet. It would be good for a kitten i think. Size wise my cat is basically a kitten, but still it is probably easier to get them comfortable with these kinds of things when they are young. Side note, the attached silicone bowl is a really handy bonus.
