I received it I put it together. I have not put my dog inside. I think it is too bulky don’t care for the dimensions. The size since my dog is only 4 1/2 pounds has been sitting on my table. I got this because one of my kids loves to take the cats outside for a "walk". This actually works pretty well to allow the cat some outside time without actually getting outside. It isn't good for a larger cat - no much room to move - but it is good for a smaller cat (10 lbs or less). Same goes for a dog if you can manage to get them in it. It is pretty heavyweight and durable. To use as a backpack, it almost takes 2 people to put on unless your animals like to be jostled a lot. As with anything, there are some good and bad. This backpack carrier is just a bit too small for my 14-pound pup. It seems to be pretty well-made and has nice pockets to carry extra supplies. The zippers work well, and it sits comfortably on my back. I will definitely save this and use it for my new puppy or kitten when they arrive! This backpack is made in China. We have a shih-poo and a mutt housecat both about 14lbs. My doggo doesn't particularly like being in this thing but she fits and can lay down comfortably enough, but can't really turn around easily. The cat has an easier time changing positions but really hates being in it. He hates being in any carrier though. He hasn't been able to get out of this and eventually perches down and consigns himself to just yowling at us. There's plenty of airflow with all the mesh and the side openings let us give him treats without him being able to squeeze out on us. We only use it really for trips to the vet so far. Our doggo is getting older and getting more frequent about begging to be carried during hikes, so I plan to bring this more often so I can easily carry her on my back. I'm pretty happy with this carrier though. Worth trying out if you need a carrier that's easy to wear as a backpack. ... show more
