Let me just say, these are freaking adorable. I can’t exactly remember the last time I skated, but these bring me back to my younger days of going to the skating rink. I mean, I really only rollerbladed back then and seldomly tried out the skates, but they’re just so much more difficult! However, I know that skates have been somewhat trending nowadays and I thought about getting a pair because I live close to a park where I see people skate around sometimes. And now I’m excited to take these for a test run! But let me just get some knee pads - just in case. As far as the fit, I would say they are definitely true to size. I am a 7.5 in most shoes other than chicks and vans, I’m a 7. I ended up getting a size 8 because 7.5 wasn’t available and thought it’s better to go up than down. They are slightly too big on me, but I feel with thicker socks and a securely tightened tie, I’ll be ok. The reason I give 4 stars is due to the tongue. It’s really stiff and makes it harder to lace up. But other than this, they’re pretty nice. I did hear a bit of cracking(?) when I stood up that was questionable but I think they should be fine. ... show more
