I like the feel even though not as crisp as other percales I have. Quality cotton. Beautifully packaged. Absolutely wrinkles out of the dryer but wrinkles are a personal matter. There’s always an iron. I iron my pillowcases. 😁 For us the sizing was a little off but that could be because our European mattress isn’t very deep (9”) Probably a better fit on a more typical mattress. I am going to pass on to a family member who has a deep mattress.

I researched sheets for at least a week, after narrowing down to four, I chose these because the Slate Gray was a good color to match my bedding. I was looking for sheets like grandma had…thick, crispy yet soft, cool and breathable, and yes they wrinkle, the best ones do. After all the research I found I needed cotton percale, and I discovered that high thread count is not better, in fact lower thread count is better. I still have a few sheets that were my grandmas, they must be at least 50 years old and still in great condition. Ive bought other sheets on Amazon that didn’t even last a year and they literally stuck to us like a suction cup. I can already tell the difference with these, and expect they will only get better the more I wash them, I’ll report back in a year. Cotton percale low thread count are the best.

The softness and comfort of these sheets is outstanding. But quality control for measuring, cutting and sewing the top hem of the top sheet is below par. After washing, there were minimal wrinkles anywhere on theses sheets EXCEPT for the top hem, shown in picture 3 The puckering is a result of the fabric not being squared before sewing. Extremely evident as I ironed the top hem, and the fabric is so poorly lined up the edge is rolling under itself, causing creasing while ironing (picture 1) just the hem. The first picture shows the ironed puckered sewn edge as well as the crooked fabric hanging down, this after lining up all sides of the sheet. Not sure if I'll keep this set, or search for a single percale top sheet from a different seller and throwing out this single sheet. I had considered purchasing the more expensive 415 thread count percale from this seller. Glad I did not.

I wish I could do 4.5 stars- I almost feel bad giving only 4 but I want to bring attention to the fact that the pockets on the fitted sheet are only 14" deep and I really, really wish there were another option because I'd buy two more sets. I have a gel mattress pad with a pillow top mattress cover and I have to pull the corners back down every morning because the sheet doesn't quite fit over the edges enough to stay. But this is one of the few products that fit my requirements at a reasonable price - pima, supima, or Egyptian extra long staple cotton in a percale weave with less than 500 thread count (with enough reviews to make me comfortable to buy). I wake up drenched in sweat to various degrees most nights, either literally wet skin to the touch all over or in a pile of damp sheets. I live in humid Houston, which doesn't help. It doesn't matter how cold I make the air at night- that just makes me burrow deeper so I can't cool off when I get hot. After my research determining that percale in a lower thread count was my best bet for breathability and temperature regulation, I went for it. These sheets have been a straight up miracle! I haven't woken up even damp a SINGLE time in the five days I've had them. I've even tried turning up the air temp at night to 72-74 instead of 70- and I slept great. These are not just magical, they may help us save on cooling costs in the summer. They are wonderfully cool to the touch, and not rough at all. Soft with a pleasant light crinkle. Another awesome thing to note is that sometimes I get in bed with damp hair from the shower - my pillow used to stay damp all night and I'd have to flip it when I woke up. Not with these! They only get damp where you're laying and as soon as you move a bit they dry and get cool again. Epic. If you want a good night's sleep, get these. If you are OCD about wrinkly sheets, resign yourself to sleeping poorly with yucky microfiber sheets or get these and prepare to iron them after every wash, because they are def wrinkly (because that's how real cotton is). I had microfiber sheets before and I'm going to donate them. I'm all about that cotton life now. Another pro tip is to put a light woven cotton blanket on top instead of a comforter- the combo is everything I ever wanted in warm weather. Buy these - you won't regret it!

Loved the quality of the Pima cotton and beautifully packaged. The sheets are made in Peru. The last sheets I bought were the high end Frette sheets but they did not fit (too long and not wide enough to tuck in). I kept them anyway and just lived with the anomaly. So, two years or so later I decided to try these. Fitted sheet was a little loose but (tried them on the bed before I washed them) I was willing to live with that. Top sheet was a little wider than the previously mentioned sheet but I can barely tuck them in. I can live with this though, I have a 12” mattress so maybe this is why they don’t fit perfectly. I wish the manufacturers would make them about 6” or so wider but it’s hard to find California King sheets of good quality material anywhere. Next mattress will be a standard king for sure. This Pima Cotton is luxurious. I will by another set.
