The glitter is a graphic that is fused onto the cup with permanent ink giving it the appearance of glitter". This tumbler has zero glitter appearance to it. I ordered the tumbler for a Christmas gift. It was exactly what I wanted except for the straw. I received a plastic straw which really made it look cheap. I contacted the seller and she promptly apologized and is sending a metal straw like shown in the picture.
