I bought this Permatex Ultra Black for small car and house repairs so I don’t have to bug my brother every time something leaks. Used it last weekend to reseal a leaky valve cover on my old Honda and it worked well. The tube is a good size for a home garage. I cut a small tip, ran a thin bead, let it skin, then bolted everything back. No drips on the driveway the next morning, which made me pretty glad. I also used a tiny bit to seal a loose metal outlet box in my home office. It cured firm but still a little flexible. Smell is there but not crazy, and it cleans off my hands with a paper towel if i move fast. Really handy to keep in a toolbox.
