I really really did not expect this to work. Though you shouldn't expect your glass to look perfect after this, it will look much better than it did before. I had a dark circle from a bullseye crack that had a very small hole on top. I highly recommend watching Permatex's youtube video "Permatex windshield restoration." You will need a straight razor (I used a sharp knife), alcohol to clean the damaged area and area around it for the adhesive to stick (I used denatured alcohol), and a push pin. If you have a bullseye you have to take the push pin and make the hole a littler larger and clear out any of the broken glass. Then wipe the area with the alcohol, allow to dry, and put the sticker on green side up. Peel the green cover and apply the grey attachment. Pour most of the resin into the tube (leave a drop or so for the last step) and attach the syringe. Pull the syringe to the second notch (pretty tight pull) and let sit for 10 minutes. Then take the syringe off the grey thing (still at the second notch) to let air in, then put it back in the grey thing and push down to the first notch (pushing air into it. Let sit for at least 20 minutes, I let mine sit longer. Then remove the syringe and grey plastic, I just scraped along the side while pulling and the sticker part came off clean. Then take your left over resin and put a good drop on top of the hole, placing the yellow film on top and pressing out all the air. It should stick. Let sit (I left mine in the shade for 1 hour), come back, peel the yellow off and scrape the excess. Mine looks great now! ... show more

For me, it worked well on a small bullseye. I followed the directions but when forcing air back into the pedestal the seal breached and leaked a little. Ok, a lot. I held it in place and worked it in and out and that worked well. The starry cracks are gone, and what remains is a tiny spot where the object removed material. Thought it’d be worth a shot trying to save my newly replaced one year old windshield. Spent two hours of my life and some money on this product hoping it would work, but it didn’t. I had purchased the 16067 kit. No curing strip included, at least in mine although the directions said it did have. I can still see the chip mark in the windshield. I was hoping for a better fill result. I guess the rock chip crack is sealed. Hopefully it won’t travel any further. So this is cheap. I had called Safelite and they wanted $159; another windshield company in my area quoted $55-$75 so this is definitely cheaper. Better? I don’t know. Luckily the chip is not in my field of vision. Our insurance policy would NOT cover the windshield chip repair, ($1,000 deductible) so I attempted to do myself. ... show more

Very good initial results. As a first time user of this product with out any experience. It appears that it works very well. Only negative is that it didn't come with a cleaning pad and the directions are a bit confusing, not matching the pictorial to the text.
