I like the fine point. It doesn’t leave splotches or globs of ink that smear when my left hand rubs across the writing. I also like the diameter of the pen, not so thin as cheaper models, so my hand doesn’t get writer’s cramp. Lastly, I prefer a lid, to a click ball point type, so it doesn’t get accidentally opened in my purse or pocket, getting ink on the inside of it. I keep a good supply of both black and blue at my house. I find that when I need to write, I’ll go looking for this one, over using whatever is closest. A few times I have bought a package that did not perform as well (did have some ink globs). I can’t figure out the difference, but it seems when I find them slightly cheaper. Not sure if they’re made in the same way or place. But over several years, that’s only happened to 2 packages. So, I look specifically for this pen. ... show more

I had received these pens as 'swag' (I don't know what to call it ... a giveaway?) and I found it to be my go-to pen. I was so upset when it finally ran out, I went searching for it on Amazon - and that took some doing as the pen was capsule was all blue with the company's logo. Nowhere in sight was the pen brand. I finally looked at the different shapes, sizes, points, etc., then realized I had evidently purchased the same exact pen in colors. With that info in hand, I found the pens on Amazon and when they pens arrived (I ordered a box of blue and a box of black) I was delighted! The pink ink flows well, doesn’t smudge, and shows up well. The barrel is full of ink - no shortchange here. Cap snaps on tightly. Solid and durable. The pental pen is okay, it’s definitely not my favorite pen because it lacks the darkness I’m looking for. My two favorite pens are the TG31880 .35 and the BT21 ultra fine because of how fine and dark they are.
