Great cooler. Why competing brands that rhyme with shmeti don’t put wheels on large coolers I have no clue. Kept ice 4 days in garage at approximately 80 degrees no problem. Only potential issue is handle seems a bit flimsy but time will tell. Upside is that pelican has lifetime warranty and made in the USA unlike shmetis. This pelican does fit in truck bed w a top. This thing ROCKS... use it for our travel youth baseball team. I have taken it to cooperstown where it sat in the bed of my truck in 90+ degree weather and there was ice in it when we left. Just returned from another baseball trip. Filled it up with ice on a friday...80+ degrees for a week and came home and didnt get to emptying it until the following weekend...still had ice in it! This cooler is amazing and everything is crafted for very heavy use that should last a lifetime. I do feel there needs to be better design consideration with this though as it takes up a ton of space! That's to be expected I'm sure, but it total it has 9 inches just for both handles. The cooler fit where I needed it but the additional width the handles added put it over. I am disappointed to have to return it cause I can tell everything about this thing is meant to keep contents cool and last forever! ... show more
