  • Great Purchase
Color: Blue Size: 1535 Carry-On Case
Awesome for Travel! Beware of the TSA locks, they work great, but due to it being a Pelican Case , TSA locked my bag when I hadn’t locked it in the first place and I had to have someone open up my bag after I had arrived at my destination because I didn’t have my keys on me. Love the color and overall quality. Would recommend! ... show more

  • Check oversize if it doesn't show up...
Color: Black Size: 1535 Carry-On Case
Great case. A little small inside but it forces you to pack smart. Pro tips: 1. If your final destination is the ATL, check oversize luggage if it doesn't show up on the carousel. Don't try to figure this out, just beware that if you volunteer to check it then you might have to hunt for it. Alaska won't tell you where it went. Good luck. Thank goodness for company policy. We'd all have to use discretion otherwise. 2. If you're expecting to bring back souvenirs, line this case with a duffel and then pay to check it on the return flight. ... show more

  • Worth every dollar!
Color: Blue Size: 1615 Travel Case
Got this for my husband for Christmas. He travels for work so he uses it every week. He keeps an Apple AirTag in it to make sure to never lose it. He absolutely loves this suitcase. And I love how durable and heavy duty it is.

  • Are you traveling to far away lands
Color: Black Size: 1595 Travel Case
where flooding, insects, sand are an isssue? Is your flight long and you are carrying fragile items that need to be protected? Then this is the case for you. In an old job, we used pelican cases for everything, and this one is as good as standard government issue (which is better than it sounds). Kept my items secure. The pressure release valve meant the perfume I brought (shouldn't have) didn't explode. When the floods hit, I stuffed everything in here and my clothes and electronics stayed dry. When the dust storms hit, my stuff stayed clean. Poor case was dragged over rocks, dirt, etc and the wheels held up great. Pull our handle is strong and sturdy. ... show more

  • Great Quality but Missing Parts.
Color: Blue Size: 1535 Carry-On Case
This is an excellent travel case and very durable. I did have one problem. After I opened the box and checked the case, I discovered that the 3 mesh interior packing bags were missing. I contacted Pelican and advised them of my problem. They said that since I bought the product from Amazon I would have to call them ( Amazon) to resolve the problem. In other words I asked Pelican if I could purchase the bags separately and they said no. I then called Amazon who indicated my options were to return the travel case and order a new one or do without the bags and they would give me an additional 10% discount. The bag was a X-mas present for my daughter who needed it for travel 2 days after X-mas, so I took the discount as I had no real other choice. ... show more

  • Best Luggage
Color: Black Size: 1615 Travel Case
Despite being 15 pounds itself, absolutely great luggage! Space is just right also. Placed shot glasses, cologne bottles, and potato chip bags during my international flight and all were in tact despite just having clothes inside to hold it all in place. Comes with 2 keys for the lock, 3 handles, and inside zipper pocket holder. If you’re looking for a sturdy dependable luggage that will last, this is the one! 10/10 ... show more

  • Great Bag, But Needs Better Wheels
Color: Blue Size: 1535 Carry-On Case
First off, this case is excellent. It's not the fanciest one out there, and the plastic will get banged and scuffed, but it's proven very durable and quite overkill as a go-to business travel bag. It's a dream in airports, and I feel totally confident using it to keep electronics and other stuff dry and contained when I gate-check this bag. HOWEVER... I had to mod this case, as the original wheels were absolute trash. The bearings barely spun (they just kinda slid, metal-on-metal, on the solid axle), and one of my wheels was lopsided, making for a very loud, clunky case. Pelican was good enough to send replacement wheels, but they sent similarly poor quality wheels with bearings that still felt like they were packed with mud. The invoice for the replacements revealed these wheels cost just $1 each (or so), which seems inexcusable for a case that's nearly $400. They could've easily put on a pair of halfway-decent rollerblade wheels and bearings while barely need to bump up the price! After I modded it, the case is awesome now, and due to the poor information out there on how to modify the wheels on this case, I felt compelled to write down what I did... 1.) Find yourself 64mm or smaller rollerblade wheels with a ABEC-9 bearings and an 8mm axle diameter (I bought these... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GR57GGQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1). Also, get a couple washers that are ~8mm inside diameter, and whose outside diameter won't touch the outer ring of the bearing (probably best to just bring the wheel and axle into a hardware store and see what you can find). 2.) Remove the screws on the backplate on the back of the case. This will release the backplate that's holding the wheel axles. 3.) Remove the axles by pushing them from the INSIDE OUT (there's a YouTube video out there of someone doing it the wrong direction, don't be like that poor guy). You can push with a screwdriver or something similar, the axles are just friction-fit. 4.) Cut some strips of cleaned, aluminum can that have a width that's just short of the width of the wheel bearing (it's going to act as an axle spacer for the strange OD of these axles). Roll one strip tight, and insert it inside the axle hole of one of the wheels. Try to slide an axle into the center of the rolled up strip. If it's too tight/loose, remove the strip and trim as needed until you get a decently tight fit between the axle and the wheel (too tight and the axle won't go in, too loose and the wheel will "wiggle" too much). Repeat for the other wheel. 5.) Slide the axle back into the backplate, while also threading it through the new wheels (and the aluminum can axle spacers you just made which should now be inside the wheel bearings). Also include any washers you need to fill the remaining space between the wheels and the backplate (to keep the wheel from sliding and rubbing against the sides of the wheel well). You may need a hammer or rubber mallet to gently tap the axles all the way home. 6.) Test the wheels by putting a little weight on the backplate and make sure they're not rubbing against the wheel well anywhere and otherwise are rolling nicely. 7.) If you're comfortable with the wheel install into the backplate, go ahead and screw the plate back onto the case (don't forget to put the handle back in place before screwing everything down). With this mod, the case just glides. On a marble airport floor, it's absolutely sublime, and on airport carpet, it's still a huge step-up from four-wheel, caster-type bags with their tiny wheels. It's now an AMAZING bag, but for almost $400, it's unacceptable that I had to buy my own wheels and fit them to these weirdly-dimensioned axles with strips of aluminum can as a spacer. I would've preferred if these cases sold for, like, $5-10 more and had decent wheels. ... show more

  • Absolutely love this case
Color: Black Size: 1535 Carry-On Case
I bought both the 1615 TRVl and 1535 TRVL. It is extremely sturdy, strong, and protective. Honestly, having the peace of mind when a bag is checked that everything will be safe, dry, and secure is priceless. When I first bought them, my fiancé wasn’t sure because they aren’t cheap… caught some flack a bit. But then she saw how great they are and now wants a set. I primarily have them for normal luggage. It’s a bit overkill as most people when them for camera equipment, etc, but I like to be overkill at times. These cases will be the last pieces of luggage I’ll ever buy. They are great. ... show more
