This case is wonderful, especially if you’re a person that needs to fit a lot of gear into 1 bag/case. I’m gonna get this out of the way though — the foam is not for me! It was easy to use the pluck and pick foam, but that also can be limiting. If you need to maximize your space or change up your case for different jobs than the foam is not for you. I ended up buying the padded organizer, so far, so good. If you’re unsure if the foam is the way to go - buy this with the padding or the TrekPak. If you have gear that you want to set permanently in this case for storage and travel, then the foam would be perfect. Or if you’re meticulous in your storage and packing than the foam would be a good choice. I personally like to have the ability to switch up my cases based on what I need for each job, so the versatility of a padded organizer is better for me. In my case (w/padded dividers) I can hold: 2 godox/flashpoint AD 600’s with batteries and chargers, 1 godox AD 300 pro, some accessories & cables, 2 bowens mount adapters for flashes/godox 300, 1 flash head extension adapter, a couple of spring clamps, 1 5D MK IV, 100mm macro lens, 24-70 lens, chargers, 1-2 flashes. I’m looking into adding a lid organizer to this so I can better store accessories. The case is durable and can hold a lot of gear. The lighter materials help with the overall weight. I’m definitely more confident in traveling with this case vs. previous cases. The handle extension takes some getting used to, it’s not as intuitive as a suitcase handle is. That’s one thing I wish Pelican would change about this. For me, it’s not a big deal, but I do have to show people how to use it if I’m working with an assistant or taking an Uber. I also wish that the wheels had more of a turning axis on them, but I’ll deal with that for the protection and durability of this case.

These are top quality professional cases. I use mine for all my electronics etc. The foam can be cut to perfectl;y protect any shape and size of item. The 4x push button clasps add to the security. I use two small key padlocks to fully secure the case.

These are really well put together cases. The pick foam makes them highly adaptable. The construction is suck that your equipment is very well protected. The Air cases are lighter than may Peli cases, but they are still quite heavy. Be very sure your total weight is within the max airlines will allow 32kg. This Peli is almost half that weight.

I've been using this case for about 6 months now and I gotta say it's built like a tank. I travel every week for work and this case has taken a beating. I've taken it on roughly 52 flights now and while it's got a fair number of scratches everything inside has been well protected. I'm using this because I travel constantly and I was tired of being away from my gaming pc when I was stuck in a hotel 5 days out of the week. I have my pc in a different pelican case, but I decided that I wanted something better than the cheap/old hotel TVs. So I took some measurements and found that this case fits a 27" 1440p LED monitor just right. I was able to use the included foam to keep the monitor in place and then pack my clothes in the remaining room. Between my clothes and the foam, the monitor hasn't been damaged. Eventually I'll take this to a custom foam maker but for now the stock pick'n'pluck is working. I've also used this to take my PC and monitor to LAN events. I'm hoping LTX will be coming back soon and I'll be taking my gear up to Vancouver using this case. Also, it's ridiculous but I'm a big fan of the bright orange. It makes it easy for me to find my case when it comes down the luggage carousel.

I’ve used this for air travel for over a year now and it’s one of the best I’ve ever bought I went through around 5 other travel bags in 6 months if was to take all the money I spent on those I could’ve just bought this first and saved the money the only thing I’ve had to replace it the wheels but only because I’m in and out of gravel lots and other types lots a lot of the time I’m traveling

I ordered the case with foam. The foam was not received. Amazon refuses to assist. They state that I need to contact Pelican directly. Pelican states that Amazon is not being truthful and they can do nothing about. I need to contact Amazon. Tired of the run around. Had to buy foam on my own and build out the case myself. Very frustrating, not to mention that since I never got the foam, I overpaid for the product.

Product is made out of top notch material, my previous product from another maker wasn’t holding up well to my travel schedule. it had gashes and scratches all over. I have replaced with this new Pelican Air and this is much lighter and more durable and handles well to my traveling through airports. The wheels are a lot smoother and with its long handle its easy to pull through the airport. Thanks Pelican
