I have two of these cases and my stepdaughter has one, as well... I have been a Think Tank Photo user for many years, and will continue to be, as I own 4 Airport Securities and a Airport Takeoff. Those bags are excellent for carry on and storage of much of my gear. However, when I need a case to completely protect my gear from the elements and potential impact, the Pelican Air is what I use. No matter where I go, I know my cameras, lenses and other gear is protected from the elements and the most impact a case of todays standards could withstand. The TrekPak is perfect for layout of your gear, and when traveling, you worry a bit less your bag must be checked. That can't be said for the ThinkTank Photo bags, as you never want to check one with your gear. ... show more

Perfect way to transport fragile equipment such as cameras and lenses. I love the Trekpak material used to form the individual storage compartments. It took a few minutes to figure out the best configuration for my gear, but once that was done it was very easy to cut and insert the dividers. The Pelican 1535 Air case has plenty of available storage. I was able to comfortably find space for three camera bodies, two 70-200mm lenses, one 14-24mm lens, and a 24-70mm lens. You really can't ask for more from a case that still fits into the overhead storage bin of a plane. ... show more
