I almost did not buy this because of the price and I am primarily using it just for a lunch box. After the last episode of my old lunch box’s handle coming off, dropping the contents all over the ground I purchased it. I am so glad I did, this thing is awesome. It’s heavy duty and has lots of room for my lunch stuff and drinks. The latches are well made, hold securely, and are easy to use. The handle is also well constructed and robust. It won’t be failing anytime soon. The basket is a perfect spot for more fragile food stuff. I dig that the lid opens up to reveal a slim storage space inside the lid. I keep my wallet and keys and shades in there while I am working. All in all this little box does more than I expected and is a quality piece of equipment. This is a great lunch cooler. I pack my husband's lunch and breakfast carries his water. The dry tray is a must! Plus the little compartment on top is good for silverware, paper work. I've used this several times since I bought it. 1st time was strapped to my ATV on the trails. It was easy to strap down and took a beating being bounced around by my ATV. I use water bottles frozen for cooling and the ice bottles were still frozen solid after 8 hrs in the June Florida sun. I've also strapped it to my Paddle Board,and it worked great except the lids storage personal item storage compartment...it's water resistant, but not water proof. (I rolled my paddle board over and the cooler was mostly submerged). The contents in the actual cooler remained dry though do to the lids seal. The height of the inside of the cooler could stand to be an inch taller. The dry tray doesn't sit in the cooler properly with standard 20oz water bottles are upright. Just have to pack the cooler like Tetris. I'm very happy with this cooler and is my "go to" when cold drinks are needed on adventures. ... show more

Love the functionality of this product. The size is perfect for what my husband is needing to take for lunches. It’s not too big, not too small. The separate spots for everything is perfect so if you don’t want certain things squished or getting wet from ice you can separate them.

The cooler is nice for those who do outdoor work like road building, iron working, logging etc. oftentimes stores or lunch trucks are not convenient. You can fit a lot of drinks in the bottom to stay hydrated all day and then the top tray keeps your sandwiches and food dry and cold. Best of all, there is a dry compartment on the top lid and you can keep your badges, keys, wallet and other little bits and pieces 😉 so you don't have too much s*** in your pocket all day. I pack mine up each morning. I throw my truck keys, my wallet and my site and badge in the top and away I go without a bunch of different things to carry. Plenty of room to get you through those long shifts where you're eating Breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus break time and best of all the amount of money I save at the gas station Buying food each day and more than Pays for the cooler in a week, And allows me to buy more scratch off tickets and nicotine products. 🤟 Another nice thing is that this cooler is not super heavy like a yeti. It's solid. You can sit on it. You can stand on it but it doesn't weigh 50 lb empty and you're not going to throw your shoulder out grabbing it out of the truck bed. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. Pelican does make a seven quart size but I feel that would be too small for somebody who's away from the house for 10 or 12 plus hours a day.
