Bottom line: Recommended if you have the face shape and/or confidence to pull a look off. Pros: Good magnification, fewer blur issues than most, sturdy quality frames, expensive looking frames of good quality, good lenses that don’t warp -Cons: no anti-glare coating, metal earpiece tips catch on my hair and can’t be smoothed or refitted - These are large glasses with a larger-than-life style. There’s a razor thin margin between bold and stylish and owlishly odd. I have an longish (not Sarah Jessica Parker or Abe Lincoln, but longer than it is wide) face shape with, what I previously understood to be unremarkable features. However, these glasses have a Clark Kent effect and I’m transformed from a fairly well-preserved 40-something woman with slightly close-set eyes into a try-hard cross-eyed supervillain. First of all Amazon packaged them in a bag, not a box just the glasses thrown in a plastic bag and tossed in an envelope. Not surprisingly the frame was broken. So I will be retiring these and I am not happy about the way these were shipped. The quality also feels very cheap

I really like this pair of reading glasses. The material is strong and sturdy without being overly heavy. The lenses are crisp and clean easily. Basically, what impressed me most is that these essentially ARE good quality glasses.
