The soap works well as a glycerin soap, lathers reasonably well and gets you feeling clean but it does have a vaguely medicine-type odor which is a bit off-putting but doesn't linger after your shower. The blue version of this soap doesn't have the same odor.

No wonder my grandparents used it all year around. It heals the broken skin cuts caused by cold weather and abuse from working on stuff. The glycerine actually HEALED my hands!!!! It's all natural too, I think.
