I think this may be the best a duffel bag I have ever owned--and I've owned lots. Let's start with the main compartment, which is plenty big to carry whenever you need for a weekend getaway or back and forth to the gym. I like that the straps easily stay out of the way when you're accessing the main compartment and that the bottom of the bag has a panel to keep it flat on the ground. I routinely carry a pair of size 15 running shoes, a basketball, a full change of clothes, and a small toiletry kit without issue. There is also ample storage within the main compartment for small things that you need to keep track of like Airpods, a wallet, and keys. On the outside of the bag, there are panels on either side with lots of pockets for small items that you need access to readily. If you have experience with any of PD's other products, you know that their pockets are well-designed and built to last. A nice touch is that the zipper pulls can be interlocked (main compartment) or slid into the bag itself as a way to keep would-be theives out of your bag. Granted, this is not a perfect theft deterrent, but it is at least something. The bag hold its shape well, and the materials seem very durable. I absolutely love that the straps can be configured in different ways so that you can carry the bag by hand, over shoulder, or as a backpack. Before I bought it, I was worried that the straps would be easily become loose or detach themselves, however, it is actually quite difficult to detach them to move them to a different anchor point. Another nice touch is that the hand straps are magnetic and stick to each other so that they are not both flopping around. But perhaps the best part about this duffel bag is its overall appearance, which is more stealth fighter than gym bag. It is unlike any other duffel bag I have ever seen in this regard and has drawn loss of attention from jealous admirers. 5/5 stars.

I have had the bag for more than three months now. I use it as my gym bag for the most part. It is the most pretties, sexiest gym bag I've ever owned-!!! Very sturdy and the opening at top is SUPER WIDE-!! Zippers are very smooth. From the zippers, I can really feel that the zipper quality is high quality. Compared to the most bags out there, this by far surpasses the quality. In my opinion, I think it is better than that Prada duffel bag. I've had it and used and abused that Prada duffel bag for years. However, the quality of Peak Design's duffel bag is much better IMO. The all black one is super sexy. I love it-!! And there are so many pockets in and outside of the bag that I am able to securely carry small items like USB, key, earbuds and etc. Like I mentioned at the headline, I am going to get me one more of this duffel bag. I am going to get that sage one. After using this duffel bag, I have decided to buy their travel backpack too. The only downside of the bag is the handle. I wish it had stronger magnet or had a wrapping thing where the handle could become sort of like... one... or maybe circular design to make it easier to hold??? Oh, the other downside is that it doesn't come with medium camera cube-!! (I know that they sell it separately but I just want that cube too lol) So, I am going to buy that medium camera cube soon. Most likely with the sage duffel bag... If you are thinking rather you should buy this bag or not, stop thinking and JUST BUY IT-!! You will totally love the bag. Considering the quality that you will get from the bag, you are not paying that much. Seriously, are you still reading this? Drag your mouse up and buy the bag-!!! Trust me, you will love it-!!!

Looks sleek and can hold a lot. Like the extra subtle touches typical of PD (locking zipper on inside) zippers are buttery smooth. I also think they would stand behind their products which is fantastic. Straps in backpack mode are not as uncomfortable as some reviews make them out to be. Holding in handle mode is a little uncomfortable after long periods of time. Only complaint is I wish magnets in handle were a little stronger and handles with a bit more padding. Excellent candidate for one bag if you like duffels like me.

I packed this duffel with some compression packs and it fit about 5 days worth of clothes. All of the pockets are also very handy and it is very durable and had a great material and look, really strong zipper. For my flight, I was able to carry it on as a personal item, it just barely fit under the seat so don’t overstuff it if you will be using it as such.

The bag was great for a 1 week trip to Dublin and Amsterdam. Lightweight and with easy to access pockets, this combined with a backpack for my laptop and tablet, was perfect to lug around on the plane, ride share and trains. It has a great profile and when combined with packing cubes, can actually hold a lot without looking like it is stuffed to the gills. Comfort wise, it is lightweight, so easy to carry using either the hand or shoulder straps. The only minor negative to this bag is that the hand straps are not the most comfortable to hold. They have light magnets to hold the two hand straps together, but they aren’t the best shape or padded well enough to hold for a long period of time. Aside from that, this is a fantastic, functional looking bag with enough space to carry about a week’s worth of clothing comfortable - aside from what I was wearing, 1 extra pair of jeans, 1 pair of slacks, 2 button downs, 1 polo, extra pair of shoes, pair of shorts, 3 t shirts, socks/underwear, and toiletries. This was all without having to use my backpack for additional storage.
