  • A Must Buy!!!
Let me start by saying, this game is absolutely awesome! I bought this to play with my 4-year-old daughter and she absolutely adores it. My daughter has some speech delay problems, where communicating is not easy for her, so I bought this game to try and get her to talk more and express her feelings. This game is targeted at analyzing the feelings of others, in this case, the characters in the game, and then fixing their problems to make them happy. It comes with several game boards and each game board has 9 squares. Each square itself has a different character with a different problem and a little rhyme in it explaining the problem. The game also comes with a very cute small draw-string bag with little tokens in them. On one side, each token is red and on the other, it has a picture representing a square on the game board. The game also comes with a red stop sign that has 5 circles numbered 1 through 5 and a little booklet with pictures and text matching each square on the game board. You draw a token from the bag, and if there is a matching square on the game board, match it, and if there isn't, put it on the stop sign. The game ends when either the stop sign is full or the game board is full. This game is a great game to practice communication. The point of it is for you to ask your kid questions about what is going on in each square. There are no predetermined questions so it really is free to interpretation and you can ask any questions you want. What I really like about this game, apart from the emphasis on communication, is the emphasis on identifying emotions and helping others. It's not a competition game - it's a cooperation game. All players work towards the same goal, which I really like. This game is a must buy!!! ... show more

  • BRILLIANT!
Purchased this for my kids, and they absolutely LOVE it! Such a great game for encouraging kids to consider others and learn ways of how to be a helper. The pieces are all made of a cardboard-like material, so fairly durable (meaning my toddler hasn't bent any pieces yet) and love how it's a quick, easy clean up! There's not a thousand pieces everywhere that often get lost. And love how the materials are eco friendly! Keeps everyone occupied for a good twenty minutes and allows for discussion points such as identifying if the friend in the game is emotionally hurt or physically hurt and the importance of learning those differences when helping others. Can't say enough good things about it, so glad I purchased it! ... show more

  • Cute game for basic problem solving
This is a really cute game, but it is a little young for my five year-old pre-K children. This would be a much more suited to three-year-olds who are not yet adept at basic problem-solving.

  • Cute, Quick, and Fun
I bought this for my 3.5 year old and he loved it. It’s very easy to play. We took turns pulling out the pieces and looked to see who we could help and talked about how each item help the situation. When we had to put a piece in the stop sign he giggled. The game moves quick. He started making up stories about each picture. The game definitely encourages helping and sharing. He actually got up to get me a toy of his to share. ... show more

  • Simple Matching
It was a simple game for my 2-yr-old granddaughter. She caught on quickly and we played several times. It’s really just a matching game , which was disappointing. This is the 3rd Peaceable Kingdom game I’ve purchased. Dinosaur Escape is by far the best, next is Hoot Owl Hoot which teaches strategic thinking, and last is this game. ... show more
