This was a Christmas gift for our kids and they have so much fun with it. Assembly was fairly simple and straightforward. The toy is not necessarily built like a fortress, but it is functional and the kids have a blast with it. I rarely write reviews, which I should, because I appreciate others reviews on here. However, this toy was on my granddaughters Christmas list, although I thought this is a piece of junk, it's never going to work, break easy, and cause her nothing but frustration (by the way she is eight years old), on her behalf I purchased it anyway. I gave it to her on Christmas Eve. Well low and behold, it was a hit!! I'm not kidding! So far it works very well! She couldn't and wouldn't stop playing with it! Her sister who is fourteen had fun playing it with her! They made it into a competition. My daughter and I were shocked at how much she was enjoying it! We even got involved playing it. The next day, my daughter and my older granddaughter called me, laughing their heads off, because my younger granddaughter opened all her gifts, thanked Santa and her family, put everything (that she really wanted) aside and went back to playing with this! Wouldn’t charge at all, after hours still nothing. Then I put in batteries and the light came out, put in a plastic coin and touch a knob and it immediately resets. Arm doesn’t move at all, just a maddening cycle of powering on and doing nothing over and over. Cheaply made, flimsy in design (which actually wouldn’t have bothered me if it had worked). My kids love claw machines and they enjoy playing with this particular one. Just be careful when putting this together and make sure that your kids don't try to do this by themselves. It is somewhat on the cheap quality side of things but that is what you pay for. I like the fact that this device can run on both batteries or plug in but I wish they used USB-C instead of micro usb because its a pain the but to try to plug in. ... show more

This was a birthday present for my daughter(8). She loved it. The whole family has fun using it. It’s a little tricky to put together, but not too hard. I’m happy with the quality, for the price I half expected it to fall apart in The first few uses, but it has really held up for a while now.

My kids are huge fans of this! It was pretty easy to put together and has held up against two children and their friends. It comes with a couple of cute prizes, but you can also put other little toys in there as well. At first, I thought the claw was broken because it kind of just hangs there, but once it’s plugged in, it works just fine.
