Not into spring and hybrid mattresses. This replaces a thinner foam mattress. It is medium firm (my preference) and thick. Fits the twin xl platform frame perfectly. Puffs out after about a day (after you remove from box).

Just received. Hope it will work for our purposes (as we've done with a similar mattress for a different bed, under the "real" mattress, in place of box springs). If it doesn't, we'll be out its cost. I laughed myself silly reading the return policy and warranty enclosed with it. TLDR: If you buy it, plan to keep it as long as it lasts, however long that is. Here's some of the text of the enclosed Return Policy: "If the item has not arrived damaged nor defective the buyer is held responsible for all return shipping costs, and along with restocking fees." Bet that would be = at least half the cost of the mattress. But the kicker: "All items must be re packaged (sic) in the original box it was received in." I'd love to see someone get the expanded mattress back into the original box. And from the warranty: "We products (sic) are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for 3 months from the ORIGINAL PURCHASE DATE (sic) with the following exceptions: Upholstery materials, foam...." lol lol - what else is the mattress made of?

I've bought 2 of the 10 inch full gel mattresses. I got the first roughly 2 years ago when we bought my son a bigger bed. We loved the bed so much, when we decided last summer to upgrade my daughter's bed, we bought this mattress again. Here soon I will be buying another for my father in law. These mattresses have held up through all the chaos that comes with children (jumping on/off/into the bed), and been just as comfortableas when we first got them. This would definitely be the mattress I recommend to people if they asked.

Okay so my husband and I bought the king size of this mattress back in January and love it so much, after almost a year though I have noticed a sag/hole where he lays. The cooling does seem to work, never feel super hot in the bed, but overall we love it. So when we needed to get our daughter a big girl bed, I immediately wanted the same one as ours. I got a full size, and 1. The mattress looks different? It has a gray pattern on it and I didn’t see anything indicating it would look like that in photos (the pattern is visible through the sheets that are a white floral) so bummer. 2. The smell was/is awful. Unwrapping it I immediately smelt a chemical or plastic smell that hasn’t gone away. I laid on it for hours reading my books while my daughter fell asleep, and could almost *taste* the plastic, this worries me that it isn’t the safe and fiberglass free product they say it is. I’m debating returning, which again we loved our king mattress, but the inconsistency is odd and worrying. If you buy this mattress there is no telling if you’ll get the great product or the hazardous one.
