Works great for my steam deck to play the drums clone hero so the MIDI actually works I definitely recommend for the price and functionality of the product 5stars (tutorial to get it to work on clone hero open clone hero , press start , go to controllers select Drums , then go to MIDI settings , go to input devices press up arrow and down arrow to select device it should be under USB DEVICE: USB DEVICE , then go to Quick setup map your drum pads as the buttons, and you’re all set . Side note use your controller or keyboard to navigate menu :)

Got this for one of my grandsons. Everyone loved it except for his mom, but we eventually let her know it could work with headphones as well. All the kids had a blast with it and even some of the grown ups. They did manage to break one of the drum stick within a couple days (reason for 4 stars instead of 5), but in all honesty, that could be the boys more than the drum stick...

UPDATE: Customer service from the manufacturer was amazing! They emailed offering a replacement/refund. But there’s no need- I tried charging it and apparently when the battery is low there’s not enough power to one tomtom. Not sure why we didn’t think to try charging it sooner. But 2 weeks is a good batter life! We got this for my drum obsessed 4 year old. He loves it. But after 2 weeks the speaker blew so we are returning it. Works fine with headphones but not through the provided speaker. Needless to say our kid is devastated and asking for a real drum set for Christmas. We opted for this version because it’s small and who knows how long our kid will want to play drums- but after 2 weeks of this little toy set it’s clear we’re in for full on noise.

Updated review: If you're looking for this type of product, I definitely recommend this vendor. Here's why.....I initially purchased this set for my 10-year old grandson, and at first gave it a 3-star review only because it turned out to be something that I thought size-wise was better suited for a younger child. I didn't feel there was anything wrong with the product; just that it wasn't a good fit for me. I didn't ask or expect to hear from the company about my review, but Sarah from their customer service department reached out, and I have to say she definitely went above and beyond in ensuring I was one satisfied customer. Never anticipated the excellent customer service I got - and because of this changed my review to 5 well-earned stars! Thanks Sarah!
