I recently purchased a 14K gold-plated chain, and so far, I'm impressed with its quality, especially considering its $15 price point. It's been a few weeks, and I haven't noticed any fading or discoloration. I was a bit skeptical about how it would hold up with water, but it's been fine so far (again, only 2 weeks). I haven't experienced any green discoloration. I've received numerous compliments on the chain, which is always a plus. While I can't speak to its long-term durability yet, for the price, I think it's a great buy. Chain doesn’t lay flat, and kinks SO easily. Disappointed because it’s beautiful and I really wanted it to work. The chain is delicate enough that it might not bother you if you plan on wearing it alone, but I bought it to layer, and the kinks cause tangles and doesn’t look good.
