Love this robe! It’s very lightweight, which I love, and super soft and cozy. The fabric has a little bit of a velvety sheen to it. The color is taupe, but it does have a slight purple tint to it. I’m 5’5” and it fits a little longer on me than it looks in the photo. I’ve only washed and dried it once but it seems to have held up fine, it held its shape and has no pilling. Got this for my best friend as a baby shower gift. Every mama needs a little TLC. She loved it! It was so soft, but not Sherpa where it’s heavy and can get matted. Nice and warm, but not heavy. The satin details and waffle texture really elevated the robe, made it look fancy! Her husband tried it on jokingly at the shower and she ended up asking me for the link because he wanted one too! This is the warmest, coziest bathrobe I've ever had. The Sherpa is very thick, your neck and chest are totally covered to keep you toasty, unlike almost all other robes. Construction and fabric quality are great. Deep pockets for keeping your hands warm. I bought this robe as a gift for my daughter who wanted to wear it out on her porch in the morning to have a smoke. When it came, even though it was very pretty, I was very disappointed in the thickness of the material. I thought for sure I was going to be returning it because it wasn't warm enough. Well to my surprise she said it was perfect. The cold doesn't bother her at all. She loves the softness of the material and threw away her old robe. So I bought another one for my grandmother and she loves it too. The size runs a little big. My daughter is 5'6' / 180 lbs and the X large fits her well. The length hits mid calf and the sleeves are long enough. I bought an X large for my grandmother who is only 5 ft / 160 lbs so I was concerned about the length tripping her but it hits nicely just above her ankles. The sleeve are quite long on granny but we just rolled them up. Neither has trouble with tight sleeves or lack of overlap in the front. ... show more

I originally purchased one in 2019 and it held up relatively well but I decided to splurge and treat myself by getting a new one (August 2024) and I still love it! Good quality, super soft. It does run bigger but I don't mind.
