It is a perfect weight, some robes really weigh you down around the neck and I have back issues. This one is great. I love how soft it is and the purple color is a deep, rich purple. It’s not a high quality robe. Putting it in the first time I found a hole in one of the front pockets, the side of the robe, and at the end of a sleeve. You cannot see the holes and they were small, you can just feel the gap in the seams. I wanted the robe just to wear around the house during the winter and it works great for that. I really enjoy wearing it on chilly days. It’s super soft, the cats love to snuggle up with me in it, and it is warm. 100% would buy again
