I used Paula’s products starting about two years ago. I ran out and instead of reordering I purchased another well-known product line that did not deliver results as advertised. I am now back to using Paula’s products and have definitely seen an improvement.

This Paulas Choice Toner has made such a difference in my skin!! It's all I use, I cleanse my face with Juno cleansing balm, then I put on this toner and my skin has not had any break outs or dryness! I Love this product and I've already bought a 2nd bottle......don't want to run out!

I absolutely love this Toner, it leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and replenished - which is amazing as I have dry and sensitve skin. It is thicker than most toners and a great base to my skincare routine. I only wish it did not contain Soy as I am sensitive to that ingredient.

    • Major skin purge and irritation
I’m “allergic” to topical vitamin C. I didn’t pay close enough attention to the ingredients, and (I believe) one slide in the photos that shows, “Vitamins C, E,” etc. I used this for 3 weeks and had pimples all over my face the entire time. (I’m someone who rarely breaks out, by the way.) On the last day, my face turned beet-red, felt like I lit it on fire, became instantly flaky, and swelled before I got back on Amazon to review details on the product. I can’t recommend this for hyper-sensitive skin, however, for about 3 days it completely controlled my rosacea!… before it decided to inflame it far worse than its ever been in my life…. I got this after watching a video from Lab Muffin Beauty Science on products for people trying to rebuild their skin barrier. My barrier isn’t compromised any more, but it was good info. I’m just annoyed that my skin is *so sensitive* that I can’t even use this. But, I took a risk. I generally can’t tolerate products with an “excessive” amount of ingredients. Fewer ingredients and more products, allowing each layer to dry down tends to be best for me. So if you’re in the same boat as I am with vitamin C and/or hyper-sensitive skin, try the fewer-ingredients, more products (if you’re targeting specific things, that is) route. I’m not sure why I detoured from that… (I mean, other than the great skincare ingredients in this, that is.) Now I’m on a creamy rice toner, and my face cleared up the pimples (thanks to pimple patches) overnight once I stopped this toner. My skin irritation is still bad, though—I’m about 5 days off it now. This is a cross between a toner and serum. It's a little thicker than I expected but feels so good on the skin. I use it am and pm.
