The fence screen allows for some privacy at a relatively lower cost than some other options. The trick here is to find a good brand that isn't overly expensive and offers minimal see-through fabric. This fits the bill in pretty much all these categories. The price wasn't horrible compared to some other options I saw and the fabric was dense enough to block a good portion of see-through ability. The 90% blockage that is advertised is probably near the actual number.

Originally I was going to use this for my front porch to add some privacy from other people walking by on the street they can see everything inside my house. Instead I used it to cover up the neighbors crusty unattractive plywood partition they use on their carport. It's been rotting for years. I have to look at it every time I open my window and since the houses are almost within arms reach of each other I think I'd be doing both of us favor having a privacy fence. It won't be in the sun so I won't have to worry about the weather destroy it. I feel 6 feet is a little higher than necessary. For sure the 50 feet of length should cover it nicely since my house is only 60 feet long. He asked me to cut back my Ivy he felt it was intrusive. I suppose it could have been eventually but I felt his plywood was offensive. This is the perfect solution He can keep his aesthetically displeasing plywood and I will probably still have to cut but my ivy but If no one sees it because of the fence then no one will bother about it.

We wanted to try this kind of fencing for our treeline by the road as we live in a rural area but there's a golf course down the road so we have lots of people driving by and looking into our front yard and we're glad we went with this type of fencing as it's not "permanent" but it is definitely giving us a lot more privacy from onlookers or nosey neighbors. We tested it ourselves by setting it up and driving past it and we can barely see the house let alone the enclosed garden we have in our front yard where we enjoy sitting out by a fire in the evenings or early morning coffee. Heck we can't barely see the vehicles going by from the garden. Great for privacy for sure.

I have a huge rural back yard which is open on all sides. I originally got this to form a barrier between me and my neighbor but am using it on a huge makeshift pergola that I built. The pergola is 20 feet long and not very wide. This fencing cover is perfect for it. I threw it over the pergola and there was enough left for shading both sides. Now I have shade for my strange size pergola. It is holding up perfectly and could not be happier. It is not solid so rain does penetrate through it which is fine with me. I would not want a puddle building up on top. There are so many uses for it. The grommets are nice and strong. It looks like they will hold up for a long time. I will just roll it up and leave it on the side when winter comes. I do not want snow build up.
