I actually accidentally cut it in for places when trying to open the package. I managed to sow almost completely all sides. Also, honestly, I've not worn it yet. Finally, weight and height is up to you to decide what you believe is right for you. Even if you get it wrong and it was your last bit of money until the next check or whatnot, at least you got it. These look super cute when they're not on, but they are definitely designed for a very specific body type. I am 5'3", 120 lbs. My hip measurement is 34" and where these fall on me, me thigh is about 20". They pinch at the thigh and don't stay put on me so they will ride up pinching more. There is no designated front/back on these so you can throw them on any way you fancy, but they are way too tight over my butt as well. I like my bloomers a bit longer and way more poofy. The material was quite stiff out of packaging, but they became soft and silky after a wash. I'm hoping that over time the elastic loosens up some so they're more comfortable to wear. ... show more
