  • Fantastic purchase
Just used this today for the first time every making pasta. It worked great! I only wish I had different counter tops for it to attach to better. I may have to come up with a different way of securing it but worth every penny.

  • Works Decent for Polymer Clay
I needed it for polymer clay. It gets the job done decently enough. I just threw away the pasta part I wouldn’t be needing because you can’t use it for food and polymer clay. Haven’t tried to clean it because I haven’t needed to. It moves around a ton and I have no where to attach it to my vanity which is my little art space. Which does hurt my back. A waist trainer helps with that. Not the worst thing as maybe I can attach some good suction cups or something, but that’s something to consider adding to the design. I’m happy enough with it right now. The clay does not stick to the material, and if it did it would be a simple fix, just dust with a little cornstarch, but not necessary so far. I was looking for something that was not ridiculously expensive and got the job done without falling apart. The knob is a bit weird and worries me a little, definitely not my favorite pt of the design. All the ones specifically made for polymer clay are embarrassing. I’ll update this in a couple months with how it holds up. ... show more

  • Pasta making made easy. Even I could do it. Pasta making made easy. Even I could do it.
My family and I are extremely pleased with this pasta maker machine with nine adjustable thickness settings. This machine is so easy to use that even I figured it out and that's saying something. The quality of the machine and all of the materials used in making it look to be of high-end which is surprising considering it's affordability. The machine is extremely durable we have been using it non-stop every week for the past couple of months and have had zero issues. This pasta maker machine is definitely a professional design with the convenience of being easy to use in your standard kitchen. All of that being said it does take a little bit of getting used to and the instructions are extremely helpful in that but the nice thing is is even if you mess up your pasta this machine can easily reflatten it and redo it. All in all my family and I extremely pleased with this pasta maker machine as we have been eating a lot more pasta lately pasta that we don't have to worry about the ingredients as we are making it ourselves. I would highly recommend this pasta maker machine to all of my friends and family as we love to eat pasta but also know what is in our food. As always my recommendations are based off of quality, versatility, usability, ease of use, ease of installation, fit and finish, durability, unique design, quality design, and a good value for your money. This pasta maker machine both met and exceeded my expectations as well as my qualifications for a great recommendation as you are getting a quality professional style pasta maker machine designed for your average household use all at a fair and affordable price. ... show more

  • Turns Out I Can Make Pasta… Who Knew
Finally had time to try homemade pasta this weekend, and I’m not gonna lie—I’m pretty dang proud of myself. This machine made it way more doable than I expected. The instructions were simple (almost suspiciously simple), but they were spot on. Start at the thickest setting, run it through, then keep dialing it down one notch at a time until you hit the thickness you want. Easy. Then run it through the cutter and boom—pasta. Somewhere in that process you start feeling like a full-on pastaio (yes, that’s a pasta chef… and yes, I absolutely earned that title for the afternoon 😄). We made garlic butter noodles as a side, and they turned out tender, flavorful, and the best way I can describe it…alive. Like, store-bought pasta could never. I did have to separate the strands a bit after cutting (not sure if that was my dough or just part of the process), but it wasn’t a big deal. You do have to be a little gentle when pulling the pasta away from the machine or it’ll try to roll back into itself like it’s rethinking its life choices—but after a couple tries, I got the hang of it. It’s not fast—took me about an hour—but honestly, totally worth it when you’re in the mood for something really good. The machine itself feels solid, didn’t stick at all, and clamped onto my counter just fine without leaving marks (just don’t go Hulk mode tightening it). Cleanup was easy too—barely anything left behind, and the little brush handled it no problem. Already planning lasagna next weekend, which feels like a bold move, but here we are. 😄 ... show more

  • Fun for Homemade Noodles and Dumpling Wrappers
I bought this pasta maker because I wanted to try making fresh noodles and dumpling wrappers at home. The machine feels fairly sturdy on the counter, and the adjustable thickness settings made it easier to roll the dough thinner step by step. I started with a small batch first, folded the dough a few times, then slowly passed it through the rollers until it became smooth. The cutter worked well for spaghetti and fettuccini, and the noodles looked much neater than cutting by hand. I also used the thinner setting for dumpling skins, and it saved a lot of rolling time during weekend cooking. Cleaning takes a little patience since flour can get into small areas, so I let it dry and brushed it off instead of rinsing. For homemade pasta, noodles, and dumplings, it has made cooking more fun and more organized. ... show more

  • The Nostalgy Of A Pasta Maker Machine
I swear, the Pasta Maker Machine I bought like 40 years ago for 20 bucks looked just like this one. I used it a few times to make pasta back in the day..not the last to impress my girlfriend back then..and it worked :-) Anyways now I retired early and have time on my hands to do more cooking amongst other things. I remember that it took me quite a while to make the dough, and then thinning it, and finally cutting it. It used to take at least an hour and that didn't change much. Now it is even more enjoyable and I make sure to have a glass of Chianti to go with pasta making. I really like the nostalgic appearance, and that little wooden handle adds to the nostalgic appeal. Making pasta this way is still fun---plus the pasta tastes better and I can use and experiment with the ingredients I want. Btw, it worked on my now gf ;-) Also, I was astonished that this can be had for still the same price I paid four decades ago...but most of them seem to run between $30 and 40 now. This one started out at $20 but meanwhile the company has increased the price..oh well. The quality seems to be the same... so it's basically industrial mass production (probably japan or Taiwan back then, and China nowadays) and the shears are made out of aluminum, but it looks like it might be durable. Time will tell! ... show more

  • Stretches dough very evenly. Stretches dough very evenly.
I’ve always enjoyed fresh pasta. Having spent most of my life in the restaurant and hospitality industry, it’s been a go-to meal whenever I get the chance. While I’ve watched and even been taught how to make it, I had never actually tried making it myself—until now. When I came across this pasta machine, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to finally give it a shot. I’m happy to say it worked out really well. There’s definitely a bit of a learning curve, especially if you’re making pasta for a group, but once I got the hang of it, the process became much easier. One thing I really appreciate is the hand crank. I actually prefer it over an electric version because it gives you more control. Surprisingly, the process even felt a bit relaxing—almost “zen.” It reminded me that cooking doesn’t have to be complicated. You can just pick a recipe, take your time, and enjoy the process. The machine stretches the dough evenly and does exactly what it’s supposed to. It comes with two cutting options, which work well, although having a few more would be a nice bonus. I also like the clamp design—it secures firmly to the counter, and I had no issues getting it to fit. Best of all, the pasta turned out great, and the experience was even better. I got my kids involved, and it turned into a fun family activity that may become a regular tradition. Overall, this is a great product at a very affordable price. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • I bought this thinking “craft tool” and accidentally got a serious pasta machine I bought this thinking “craft tool” and accidentally got a serious pasta machine
I originally picked this up thinking I’d mostly use it for polymer clay because, at this price point, I expected something lightweight and a little flimsy. Absolutely not. This thing is HEAVY. It’s surprisingly solid and sturdy, clamps securely to the counter, and honestly feels far more substantial than I expected. I normally use the pasta attachment for my professional stand mixer, but that setup is kind of awkward. The pasta feeds too high above the counter, cleanup is annoying, and I swear you need three hands to guide the dough properly. This manual machine is actually easier to control because everything happens right at counter level. I can adjust the speed naturally by how fast I crank instead of fiddling with mixer settings while dough flaps around like a chaos noodle. I also really like that the cutter attachment stays attached while using the flat roller. You just move the handle instead of constantly swapping parts around. The thickness settings worked great too. I was able to go from a thick dough block down to thin, even sheets for potstickers on my very first try, and it handled the dough smoothly without struggling. My only concern—and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars—is that even after cleaning it before first use, I noticed some greasy/sludgy residue transferring onto the pasta sheets. That made me pause before using it with a full batch of good dough. I’ll probably give it another deep clean and run some sacrificial dough through it before regular food use. Overall though, I’m genuinely impressed by the quality and functionality. Definitely much sturdier and more capable than expected. ... show more
