  • A good medium weight keyboard stand
Size: Double-Braced X Style Keyboard
This PARTYSAVING Pro Series Adjustable X Style Piano Keyboard Heavy Duty keyboard stand is quite sturdy if you are using a synthesizer or stage keyboard that is less than 35 pounds realistically. The stand is well braced with the double Z pattern type design and the more simple, but dependable, 'peg through hole' design for the height adjustment is solid. Even with its double braced design, the stand is still very light for a 'heavy duty' stand and is a nice balance of portability and durability. If you have a weighted 88 note keyboard that needs to be fairly low to the ground and you sit to play, you may want to look at the more professional offerings from Ultimate Support and On Stage as these are built to take the weight and the height easily but be prepared to spend 4 to 5 times more for it. For the cost, this is a good compromise of weight and steadiness while still providing support, especially for standing keyboard players. ... show more

  • As expected for the cost
Size: Pro Series 2-Tier Doubled Keyboard
Weebles wobble but, well it might fall down. But for the price it’s about as sturdy as I would have imagined. Works well enough for me, getting two keyboards off my limited desk space. Chocked the legs with a strip of rubber mat to eliminate the wobble, cut a wood shelf to span the upper arms. Only real issue is the inability to adjust the distance of the upper arms, which could easily have been done by having the cross-rod secure to the vertical arms either externally, or on a thru-bolt with a slot on either side. ... show more

  • Ergonomical Keyboard Stand for Multi-Keys Setup
Size: Pro Series 2-Tier Doubled Keyboard
If you have a miniature synthesizer or drum machine, or other musical gear you need to add to your setup and make it more organized in your recording setup, your live performance rig, or just in your home setting, this stand is definitely the choice to go with! While I have seen others complain about the sturdiness of the stand, it all depends on a variety of factors, like how much you limit the amount of gear you stack on the larger tier, which can be done additionally with an additional 3 2X4 table stacked onto the top tier, like I did. However, you can get a few small items onto it, such as a laptop, some looping pedals, synthesizer modules, etc. or whatever's the top priority in your musical arsenal. So far, playing and banging heavily on a Nord Electro 5D on the base tier has not yielded any compromise of the weight distribution throughout the entire stand and the back support toward the second tier, which makes me feel comfortable that I made the right choice here instead of making my own stand, considering these are so hard to find on the market, given the inflated price for a industry model in the music stores market. Why should an accessory like a stand cost more than the instrument itself? It really shouldn't, common sense wise, and I'm glad I discovered this listing on here. ... show more

  • This product shows the need for half stars
Size: Pro Series 2-Tier Doubled Keyboard
This is a really nice stand - not perfect, but better than 4 stars - more like 4 and a half. It's not quite as sturdy as my Deltex stand, but it's also a LOT lighter. It's also easier to setup and take down than the deltex stand (mine is the cheaper version that isn't self storing). The only change I can really think of to this stand would be to put the knobs to tighten the upper tier on the inside - that way you can fold it down fairly flat and compactly for transport and storage. Other than that, it's a really nice stand. ... show more

  • Not as sturdy as I'd hoped
Size: Double-Braced X Style Keyboard
Many of the reviews for this product led me to believe that it was similar to one I already own in terms of sturdiness. There were a couple of outlying reviews that warned of flimsiness and cheapness of materials. I think this product will do what I need it to do but I was disappointed that it wasn't as nice as the one I had. It was easy enough to put together. One of the bolts was bent but it's one of the ones that hold the straps which I never planned to use and wouldn't work if I'd wanted them to. Also, the plastic bag containing the hardware had a hole in it so there were parts loose in the box but none were missing so no biggie. All in all you get what you pay for and the price wasn't bad. POSTSCRIPT: I played my first gig with it today and it worked fine. ... show more
