I give this 5 Stars based on value. It's a great looking set for a very reasonable price. Something to take into consideration however, the tailpiece is 1 & 1/4 inches, many if not most J traps are 1 and 1/2 in. To remedy this the easiest way is to purchase a 1 and 1/2 in slip joint nut with an extra wide gasket that is designed for such a situation. It's only a couple of bucks and available at the hardware store. Measure your Drain Plumbing to determine if you will require that. Also, when installing the parts don't over tighten the screws as the metal washers are a little on the flimsy side and will malform the rubber gaskets ... show more

If you've ever installed a higher end faucet, it's clear why this product is so much cheaper. The construction of all the components are clearly just cheap. The pop up drain is a particular weak point and will likely not fit a lot of sinks very well. The gasket elevates the drain slightly above the sink so there will be a portion of water sitting around the drain that will just have to air dry. I believe this was done to prevent the need to use plumber's putty with the drain installation. However, the faucet seems to be functioning for the moment. I would not buy another faucet from this company and, if you have the means, I would recommend getting a higher end faucet. ... show more

I installed the faucet yesterday. I'm not a plumber (I'm a teacher) but it was very easy to hook-up and everything was included. It looks fantastic!!! I will buy other products as needed. I've never heard of Parlos before I bought this faucet but I'm a fan!

    • Junk a waste of money

When this arrived I thought it just looked great-and then I tried to install it. There were a couple of big problems, one I've never encountered before. The first big one. The hot water handle has a large nut you screw on from underneath the counter to secure the faucet. It would not go on. There were a number of tiny little nubs in the threads. I spent three tedious hours chiseling those out and finally secured both faucets. I then attempted to secure the Y hose that connected both faucets to the spout. Every time I turned the water on that connecting bracket blew off spraying water everywhere. It would not stay attached. I sent a complaint to the vendor who never saw fit to answer or respond. Spend your money elsewhere as this is just a piece of junk! ... show more

This is a follow up to a prior post about the Parlos faucets. We have had the Parlos faucets, widespread handles and pop up sink drains for just over a year. I purchased four faucets, two in oil rubbed bronze and two in satin nickel. The finish on the faucets with gentle care remains excellent. The pop up drains also work well and I prefer them to the lever action drains. The connections and installation of the faucets was easy if you are a DIY type person. The one minus is that the cold water cartidge/handle developed a drip on one of the oil rubbed bronze sets. I did some looking for Parlos replacement parts/cartridges and was unable locate any (I did not contact Parlos through Amazon). As such, I ordered another oil rubbed bronze faucet so I have spare parts for the two faucets I installed. I will likely do the same for the satin nickel faucets. If anyone had identified where Parlos parts can be obtained, please add to this post for others. ... show more

Absolutely Beautiful! The quality and look of this three piece facet is far better than anything you would find at home depot or lowes. The price is unbeatable and installation was very easy. I bought three of these for our house and constantly recieve compliments! The stopper for the drain is my favorite part. You simply push down once on it and it plugs the sink. It's so much more aestheticly pleasing than having the pull in back of the faucet. ... show more

I was concerned with such low prices on a set of faucets, water lines and drains and rightly so. The drains are plastic and while I was able to get one drain to seal without any leaks, the other side leaks.....over and over and over. I have tried tightening it, tried plumbers putty, reversed the gasket, and it still leaks. Here is what is interesting, if the drain is closed, no leak. fill the sink and then drain and water pours out of the bottom of drain so the leaking has to be due to the secondary drain feature sink a full sink of water does not leak. Either way, plan on buying new drains that don't leak. I will likely not purchase the set, just the faucet as they seem like good quality. ... show more

Attractive and very well made product and priced right but the parts to hook it up and create the mixer are not universal. They are proprietary hook up parts. Therefore if it breaks down the road, a person cannot go to the hardware store and replace or repair the parts. Is very well-designed for an easy hook up with very few tools. However the staff in plastic connectors look like over years they would deteriorate and from what I read in other reviews it's hard to get a hold of the company to get parts for them. A license building contractor about this for my own home but I'm going to return because I could see that down the road it could be a problem. It's a good value for the quality of all the brass parts but underneath all the plastic hookups look substandard for long-term use. I read the one person actually bought two of these just so they can have spare parts, but for that price a person could buy a Delta faucet for considerably more money which is guaranteed for life and has universal parts. I would have liked to give it a five star but in all fairness I would be wary of installing this and counting on it for longevity.
