I've never tried Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille but I came across the scent while searching the web for colognes to try. I am not paying $200+ dollars for cologne so this knock off was recommended on reddit. This cologne smells like a root beer when first sprayed but after it settles/evaporates its has a nice touch of spice, tobacco and vanilla. Without having tried Tom Ford's original, I thoroughly enjoy this sent as a blind buy. My only complaint and reason for 4 star is it doesn't last long. I understand its an EDT but even after a couple extra sprays...its seems to only last 2-3 hours at best. ... show more

I love the smell of unsmoked pipe tobacco and the is it with a hint of vanilla, very light. It is a subtle scent and lasts for hours. It’s a great value for the size. It works effectively I get many compliments.

Ignore what other reviewers are saying about how long it lasts. I sprayed 3 spritzes under my shirt and it was strong smelling for almost 18 hours. When I woke up the next morning I could still smell it, so it's definitely strong enough, at least for my sensitive sense of smell. Quality-wise it's on the lower side. It's too sweet smelling for my senses and comes across as sweet A&W Rootbeer immediately. There is a REALLY lovely tobacco scent in there somewhere. If they cut way back on the sweet/fruity/rootbeer scent and focused more on bringing out that Tobacco you'd have a pretty good scent on your hands. Otherwise it's just sort of a cheap overly sweet perfume. ... show more

If you want to smell like you spilled a bottle of vanilla extract on yourself, then this for you. It's a very strong and sweet scent of vanilla, alcohol, and some spice (like cinnamon). No tobacco can be recognized. ParfumBelcam has some good scents, and maybe this is accurate to Tom Ford, but it gives me a headache. Though I've never smelled the original fragrance this was inspired by, Bold Tobacco is another banger by Parfums Belcam. The vanilla note is just right and doesn't smell cloying. The tobacco note is nice too (doesn't smell like cigarettes or anything, more like a fancy cigar) and it's not overpowering. It has a bunch of other notes too but I'm one of those fragrance enthusiasts that's terrible at describing notes lol. What I can say though is that all of the notes are well blended and the fragrance smells masculine. It creates an alluring sillage (not sure if it's possible to really smell your own sillage, this is based on walking back into my room after spraying it on). Perfect for the winter and spring, and possibly for the evening time in the summer. The longevity is good too but could be a little better. But I can't complain about it given the price. The atomizer sprays well and the gold/black bottle looks nice on my fragrance shelf (it's a little basic but still looks good). Overall, this fragrance is an awesome value and possibly the best sub-$10 fragrance I've smelled! Parfums Belcam, if you're reading this, keep releasing great fragrances and please work on an Ombre Leather inspired fragrance next! 🙏 ... show more

Scent is great. Haven’t smelled the TF. Moist pipe tobacco with spices and vanilla. This is mostly a skin scent for me. I think if this projected more it would be cloying. These Belcam perfumes are a great value. 2-3 hours performance on this one. About on par with some designer fragrances. G Eau Black and Polo green dupes are the best performers in this line. ... show more
