These journals are so cute! They are very reasonably priced so I bought 2. The binding allows you to open the book completely to write on the left and right of the binding when fully opened, which I was looking for specifically. The front and back are hard cardboard, so they are sturdy and can sustain being put in a book bag and lugged around without getting smashed. The back page has a little sleeve to place stickers and other pages/pictures, which is another plus for this product. Since I am a texture person, the pages are good and the cover is great. I would recommend this product and would buy again if I needed another journal. (Stickers not included)

This notebook is exactly what i wanted. It came in slightly damaged. The top right corner was a bit bent but nothing detrimental or really noticeable but thought i’d mention it. Hard cover and the exact color as pictured. I also like the little folder on the back cover to hold small papers if needed. I will be using this in my office meetings to take notes. Seems to hold up well with gel pens and highlighter. No bleeding or smudging. I would definitely recommend and i will be repurchasing once i’ve used mine up.

I do art/creative journaling. This means I will use anything in my journal. This is a found gem and will continue to use it for my daily journaling. Best value and size for me. Let's start with the only negative. If you use a wet medium prepare for paper wrinkle. That is the only negative thing I can say. Positive: 1. I have never had bleed-through. Occasionally there will be a little ghosting when stamping with Archival. Everything else I have used has not bled. This includes sprays, India inks, stamping inks, assorted pens & markers, watercolors (including brushos), and walnut stain. I don't pre-treat my pages (gesso), so this is just media vs. paper. 2. Paper is strong even wet. No matter what I have done to a page it may wrinkle but it has never torn. I use matte medium to attach things. I spray the page before and after using watercolor pigments. I have never had a page not hold true to its original size and integrity. 3. Signatures are sewn so pages are in there tight. I have not had migration of wet media via the signature threads. 4. I like the size to use as a daily journal. I do a double spread each day and it works for me. I have been journaling for over 20 years and have used everything from comp notebooks to expensive mixed-media books. It is so much better than most, but if you factor in the cost it is really tops. I still keep mixed media books for projects, but for a daily journal, this is it for me for the foreseeable future. 5. I like the elastic closure. If you do anything like I do it is nice to keep it closed, but my journal never finishes up flat because of all I put into it.

The paper in this notebook is high quality. My pen writes so smooth on these thick sheets of paper. The note book also lays nice and flat when you are writing in it. Plus the color is so pretty. If you need a nice notebook this one is amazing for the price.

The only bummer about this book is that the pages are on the thinner side. Not offensively thin or anything, but thin enough that I don't want to use my Micron pens on both sides of one page. But thick enough that I can use them on one side and it doesn't bleed through. So while it doesn't bleed through, my drawing is somewhat visible. My solution is to use my ink pens on one side only and either leave the back side blank or maybe do a light pencil sketch. Not ideal obviously, but I suppose I should expect to pay more for thicker paper. That being said, the pages are incredibly smooth, probably the smoothest paper I've ever used. Smooth paper like this would be great for colored pencils. And despite being on the thinner side, they still have a good feel and turnability and the book feels nice in the hands. The binding is solid and it opens fairly flat. It has a nice ribbon marker and the covers are sturdy. The overall construction of the book is excellent. Don't buy it for the "stickers" by the way, it's just a few blank labels, nothing fun. There is a nice little pocket in the back though, to tuck away scraps or secret things. I'm pleased with it overall, but I may have to find something a little heavier for my Micron ink pens. But it'll be nice to paste things into, for pencil sketches, colored pencils, etc. The size is perfect for tossing in a bag or backpack as well.

I'm overall very impressed by this notebook. I appreciate that I can purchase it in varying thicknesses, the wide color selection, the excellent paper quality, the college ruled lines, the inner pocket, the ribbon bookmark, and the elastic to keep the notebook secure. I usually use Moleskine but the prices have gotten outrageous so I decided to give this a try and am glad I did. The only features that Moleskine offers that this does not replace is that the pages are not numbered. I also wish they offered this in a dotted grid structure as an option and not only with lined pages. Otherwise, a perfect product and I highly recommend!

I got this to use for a planner, and it's perfect! sturdy cover, little pocket in the back, and the pages are thick and pen doesn't bleed through! The dots aren't too darkly colored, so it's easy to write over them. Love it! Will definitely be purchasing again in the future.
